So it was announced today that the price of oil is the lowest it has been since 2005, at just under $50 a barrel. Can someone tell me then why are we still paying at least £1.05 a litre of diesel when petrol is now about 90.9p a litre? It used to be that diesel was a few pence cheaper than petrol, then over the last few years it went a few pence above the price of petrol. Now it is still about 15p dearer.
Come on you thieving fuel retailers, bring the price of diesel down too.

You old gits.

As I'm getting 74.5mpg average mileage and the £35 road fund licence, I'd be happy if diesel was the same price a petrol never mind cheaper.
