Thanks Sarah. Glad you think it was worth dodging around the cones and road closed signA great pic Peter, the three drops work really well and I like the detail in the feather. It was worth driving through/around the floods to find your feather!! (even if you did loose it in the car!)

Thanks for the comments MarkFlight is a lovely lovely shot. I genuinely can't fault it; stunning stuff!
Thanks for the feedback Mike. Believe it or not the image isn't B&W. In fact I'd even added a hint of red.Flight - like it - abstract image and abstract take on the theme.
I like the use of B&W, the composition and the way the drops of water work.
Thanks Neilhi Peter,
super shot, love the water droplets....nice work..
Thanks DKHi Peter
Short - Loving the edited shot... the only distraction on the first was the unbalanced look to it, but the second shot nails it for me, it's all been said, great take, love the dof and the final crop - spot on
Flight - Excellent... nothing more needs to be added to that as a comment, a great picture![]()
Thanks GrampsLike that feather shot, unusual and interesting with the water drops![]()
Thanks for the feedback Iain even if I did have to google IYSWIMBigfrom me on this one Peter.
I like the abstract feel to this whilst it still being identifiable IYSWIM
The water/glycerine is a nice touch, the magnifying effect gives a different spin on it too. Exposure spot on, pin sharp throughout all round great work. Iain

Slight pan left, maybe to loose some of the space on the right. Thanks DKAuthority - Nice Angle, Bright Colours and showing great detail, good shot Peter !!!
Cheers GrampsWorks for me![]()
Thanks Andy. The original had even more space on the right and finding the right crop was quite difficult with door handles, etc. getting in the way. There were other angles I fancied getting but I'd got warned not to include the reg plates which I heeded. After all the guy was kind enough to let me into the compound.Hi, there's been a few Police photographs so far, each with a different slant (no pun intended!).
WB is spot on and I'm liking the bright colours and Dutch tilt.
Just something about the composition, thoughSlight pan left, maybe to loose some of the space on the right.
Cheers.
Thanks for the comments CarolHi Peter,
Flight:- Love it! Wouldn't change a thing, well done
Authority:- Another excellent shot! I like the angle, it looks as if it's about to take off in pursuit of the bad guys!
Carol
Thanks Alex. Go for it. Police is the obvious choice here. When I got back to the car after taking this I got told I'd missed one of the young alsatians practicing taking someone's arm off in the car park. Now that would definitely be another spin.Good shot Peter. Police was going to be my idea, may still be but going to have to put a different spin on it!!
Thanks MichaelHi Peter, I like the angle and punchy colours. Great shot.
Thanks Summeragree with the rest, good shot, love the angle, can't fault it![]()

Thanks SarahA great shot Peter and well done for being brave enough to ask to get in the compound, though you did miss the fun in the carpark where I was!!![]()
Had a great time. Thanks Nick'Authority' I like the quirky angle Peter, very nice close up of the badge and vibrant battenburg livery. Fits the bill nicely (pun intended). Bang on target. Hope you both had a very nice holiday![]()
Cheers Allannice colours nicely exposed though there is something missing I don't know what so not very helpful sorry but a difficult subject this week
Thanks for the feedback AlanHi Peter
Flight - very sharp, nice muted colours, clever idea with the water drops adding the finishing touches
Authority - good simple idea which you have made better by the composition, pov, handling of colours![]()

A great shot Peter and well done for being brave enough to ask to get in the compound, though you did miss the fun in the carpark where I was!!![]()
Thanks MarshaHi Peter, lovely bright colours and nice DOF. I like the composition, but I would maybe crop off the RHS to chop off that edge of window/ door frame
Between you and Lynne I think the police up there are getting quite used to being harassed by batty photographers
I hope you got photos Sarah?
Thanks LynneHi Peter
don't you just love our police forceI've always found them to be extremely obliging , mainly through curiosity I think
Love the angle & focus on the badge...good work mister![]()

Thanks AlanHi Peter
Good idea for the theme. Ilkie the angle and the colours and the hint of a muddy dog above the caption. Lots of interest and the red crosses leave an air of uncertainty as to what was happening on those days.
I thought you'd like this one Liznice one Peter, even better because you have a Meg dog in it![]()
There's a few pics of our dogs in the calendar so it's been kept. At last I've found a use for itHi Peter
Leave - Where did you find a 2010 Calender![]()
A nice original idea, I like the set up angle for the shot, and the pen colours used - Good One !!!
Cheers GrampsWorks really well and good take on the theme![]()
Thanks SarahA great idea Peter and on theme!
I like the angle you have used and the different colours you have used finish it off!!
Thanks Summer. I've had a look at the calendar again and to be fair I think it's a bit of both.good idea and well executed. The right hand side looks a bit faded though, is that the calendar or the pic?
I like it, the angle works well. Definitely on theme![]()
