Hi all,
Just a general query and I'm hoping for a bit of advice if possible please.
We have timber decking out back, it hasn't been treated since it was installed around 3-4 years ago. I'm in the process of cleaning and sanding all the deck and handrails etc. but then it comes to finishing it..... Here lies the problem.... Do I use oil, or deck stain, or both, protector first then oil ?
Anyone on the forum able to offer any guidance help and advice? Anyone in the profession? Anyone had the same dilemma? If so what did you use? And how does it look now?
I bought some ronseal deck oil from B&Q but I've since learnt it's not the best product, so while searching around for an alternative I came across that much conflicting advice my brain has turned to decking oil/stain mush!!!!!
Thanks in advance for any help.
