Dave you NUTCASE!!!!

Your 365 is like a box of chocolates.
You NEVER KNOW what you're going to get next :D

PHEW.....finally made it! 3 days to get through this one.....funny after reading this and Shrubmoney's and cyclone's I feel I know you all.....These are fantastic and the dedication to get some great shots is amazing.....I am really keen to do a 365 next year, but you guys are so lucky to have the great english scenery and old buildings......Damn I am coming up with excuses already.....Anyhow, have a 50mm 1.4G awaiting Christmas day, so at least I will be able to get some great cat shots, I have 2, seems like a necessity to get through a 365!

Hopefully I will be able to get an Aussie flavour....anyhow.....

Love the 365 Dave! Have to say the first of the deck chair shots is my personal fav, but so many great ones....and I want a Macro.... Amazing and inspiring!

Thanks very much for the kind comments Ruth, and taking the time to look at the whole lot! Yes, cats definitely help!!

A 365 is hard work some days. I found I went through highs and lows, and nearly gave up a couple of times! But I do think it has helped my photography which is what I set out to do at the beginning.

Go for it! Don't take it too seriously and have fun! I'll be looking out for it! :D

P.S. Enjoy the 50mm Ruth, it's a great lens :)

Dave you and the others doing this have preformed an amazing thing here just keeping up with it, something I don't think I could ever tie myself down to do and as you are now in the last stretch I congratulate you Mate on an achievement and a half even though there were too many cats and not nearly enough dogs :D Well done Mate

345/365 - Chemical meltdown!

A shot of Fawley Refinery from Netley showing interesting and colourful pollution! I'm just glad the wind was blowing away from me!

Taken with the Nikkor 300mm f/4 prime and kenko 1.4 TC, giving an effective focal length of 420mm

Nice one Dave, another new lens Mate? I see you have seen the way of the prime ;)

Nice one Dave, is it a present or does your good lady think she has a mega pressy coming this Christmas due to the lack of funds left in the account? :D
Ah no, I haven't paid for it yet! It'll be a bit of birthday money and I'm trying to sell a lens I don't use much!

Dave, does this mean you won't be needing the 70-200 any more now:D
Yeah OK Keith you can have it.......NOT! :cuckoo::cuckoo::lol:

347/365 - Hurst Spit lighthouse.

I had friends down for the weekend and I'd planned a walk out along Hurst Spit to the castle, where we'd get a hot chocolate to thaw out and then catch the ferry home. Unfortunately the cafe was closed :bang: and the ferry wasn't running :bonk:, so we had to walk all the way back again in the biting wind! Obviously I was not the most popular person in the world. Still, the pub lunch was nice!

Sounds like you were unlucky, I took a shot of the lighthouse earlier on in the year for my 365, managed to get the last little boat back, right before a storm hit, phew ;)

348/365 - The 1970's

I saw this shot framed in the wing mirror of my car and liked it for some reason. I've tried to process it to give a 1970's feel. Does it work?

349/365 - Hey, it's Christmas!

I went to my photography club meet tonight. We'd decided to go to Winchester to get some shots of the Christmas lights. Only three of us turned up (probably due to the cold weather!) so we went to the pub instead! Dunno who the lucky b****r is who's getting the fire extinguisher for Christmas!
