Dave's 365

That is a really nice abstract - lots of shadows and contrasting shapes and textures..............and yet it all fits together nicely!

I'm glad you told us what it is though - I'd never have guessed it!

I'm sure you'll get over the "block" you've managed superbly so far.

Some great shots over the last few days Dave what is the shelter in day 38 a bus shelter?, the sky in day 39 is fantastic, nice model shot I think I would try it with the building in the background behind it maybe slightly different lighting on each one to add a bit of depth Id like to try the same with some of mine but don't have any suitable props. Day 41 very nice could be a summers day whatever one of those is . Not really into abstracts bit I quite like this still got no idea what it is mind you even after the description you give ;)

43/365 - The moon. Nuff said :D

Oooo nice moon, I've tried in the past and not had a lot of success, must be doing something wrong. Used my old Canon 70-300mm III lens, think it's a little on the soft sode, so maybe it's the gear :)

45/365 - Credit Crunch. I was thinking today about how various people cope with the impending financial doom that the papers say we are all going to meet and came up with this idea

You're still keeping up a fantastic standard, Dave. The pot pourri shot and the roof tops are my faves from the latest batch. Great. :)

Jean

Thanks Jean - I'm glad you like the pot pourri one as I wasn't sure about it (and at least I know how to spell it now!)

That's the problem - I have two in every cup too

46/365 - Olympic Laser sailor Penny Clarke sailing her Foiling Moth at Stokes Bay Sailing Club. For those that don't know, my other hobby apart from photography is racing this every Sunday morning at Stokes Bay Sailing Club. Anyhow, over the last few months the weather has been pants but we managed to get out for a sail this morning - it was very pleasant. I took the shot of Penny from the beach with my 70-300VR after I had finished sailing :D

Great shot mate, the lighting is just right as is the composition.

Don't know how you find time to fit it all in!!!

47/365 - A bit pushed for time so a simple shot of motorway light trails today. I've often thought about this shot whilst driving over this particular bridge as I like the gentle 'S' shape! :)

48/365 - A bit of macro today. Taken with Nikkor 105mm f2.8 Micro with Nikon 50mm f1.8 reverse mounted on the front, processed with some preset or other in Lightroom. :p

That's what I call close!!! Excellent!!!
Thanks. Took me a while to get the shot right. Focus was by moving camera back and forth. Must gat a focusing rack!

That's awesome! Well done!
Thanks Phil.

WOW look at the fibers in the paper!
Awesome job.
Yep - now you know what a post-it note looks like close up! :D

Wow! I'm not particularly a macro fan but that is impressive!
Thanks Marc :)
