Dave's 365

24/365 - Went out to the local church tonight as I had seen it before all lit up and thought "That'll be a good one for my 365". Guess what? It wasn't lit up tonight! Took some shots anyway and got this - a bit of processing to get something out of it! :D Here's to a better shot tomorrow!

70 secs at F10 ISO 100 (I think)

Haha,
I saw the inside lights on in the one down the road, and they were well balanced for brightness with the sky. I thought that'd make a nice shot, went down, parked up, set tripod up, went to press remote shutter.....

.....lights went out. AAAAARRRGGGHHHHHH LOL :D

Still not a bad shot mate done well considering the conditions like the slight star trails aswell

loving the last week or so of shots Dave  Today's in particular, love what you've done with the sky.

I like that church - very moody! Keep 'em coming!

(How are you getting on with the new camera back-pack)?

Thanks Kitty :)

Thanks Keith. The new backpack is HUGE! But I can fit all my gear in and its a lot more comfortable than the shoulder bag! (Even if I do feel I look like I'm going on a 50 mile yomp when wearing it!)

25/365 - Me x 2! Had this sort of shot in mind for a while so decided to give it a go today. This was actually my practice one but I spent so long in Photoshop trying to figure out how to get it right that I've now run out of light and can't be bothered to do it again! :bang: I'm not exactly happy as they're not the most flattering of poses either! Ah well, back to this concept later I think when I've had a practice or found an easier way of doing it! :help:

Good effort there Dave it would probably take me 2 weeks to get the photoshopping done on one of these

I can see a bit of elbow overlap :)
My 2nd one was much better than my first, I'm sure your next will be awesome

Excellent!!

:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Nice one Dave had mine since August I think, awesome bit of kit beware though the app store can become quite addictive :) Nice shot too how did you get the screen to be bright, every time I've tried to photograph mine the screen looks really dull same with my computer screens.

Is it some sort of medievel torture device... hmm probably not, got no idea mate hope you will put us out of our misery and tell us eventually

I think theres an application to upload to flickr from the Iphone but only for images taken with the Iphone camera, which is a shame.

28/365 - Well I've been away at my company's national conference in Harrogate for the last two days so not much opportunity to take decent photos. Here's a shot of the Holiday Inn next to the Harrogate Conference Centre taken on the iPhone.

29/365 - Another full on day today staring at 7.30am and finishing at 10.30pm with zero oppertunity to take a decent shot. I wasn't going to post today but when I looked at my iPhone this morning I saw it had somehow managed to take a screenshot of itself! I have no idea how it did this. As far as I'm aware, there's no facility to do this on the phone! Not a good shot by any means, more a weird curiosity!

For the tiny camera in the iPhone that is a good shot

Weirdness  no idea how you managed to screencap the Iphone if you figure it out let me know, and thats a pretty good picture from the Iphone camera I must admit I wasn't too impressed by the camera on it guess I wasn't using it right :)

Sean

Thanks chaps. :)

I figured out that holding the 'Home' button and pressing the 'Off' button takes a screenshot, so not so weird after all! :D
