Ok - advance warning - Teenage content - ok this is a rant (cos I am flippin LIVID)...

WHY oh WHY do they feel they have to TRY and treat you like something they have just stepped in...

Could just SCREAM at the moment... Argggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :annoyed: x LOTS Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Take deep breaths and look forward to them growing up. I am glad I had boys- just had to cope with their physical fights and car driving idiocy( often using my car!!!!). They are grown up now and are great.
 
Removed my spare iMac and a spare camera she of mine she was using and the wireless passcode is changed... Gonna be a frosty morning tomorrow...

lol hard to that in most cases.

But i had a client a long time in my last job that actually had each bedroom wired individually and i mean complete dis boards, along with a private meter. He then charged his kids for the amount of energy they used else he lock the supply off. :lol: Thing was they guy was not skint, just tight with his money, and believed it would make them appreciate the value of money more.
 
Looks like I have all this to look forward to. My little 'princess' is in her terrible two's and its bad enough!!!!
 
It's called 'teenage hormones'.
Just hang in there, one day they will move out and it will be total bliss....for a while.
Then of course there will be the splitting up with the boyfriend thing and they will want to move back home.
Then there will the time they decide to buy a puppy and you end up puppy sitting.
Then there will be the time they go to a party that is closer to you than where they live, and they will insist on knocking on the door at 4am in a drunken state in need of a bed.

Oh wait....This is just my experience :)
 
My sons not a teenager any more I think well is birth certificates says not.:thinking::bang::baby:

Got a 19 year Mk1 version of said stroppy one as well - and she has - well sort of - come out the other side - but this Mk2 version - she is currently a real pain in the... BTM...

been down this route with wireless t'internet so my advise is break out the crash helmet and make sure you don a VERY thick skin in the morning !!

I've two step children, 10yr old girl and a 6yr old boy - when I married their Mum I had hair !!
 
I have 5 sons and 2 daughters.. the youngest daughter who is a teenager has caused more trouble and given us more grief than the other six put together... thats without exageration..

Its how it is I guess...

I have it on good authority that one of the best and easiest ways to train a teenager is to remove the door to their bedroom. They soon respond to their loss of privacy.
 
as a former teenage daughter (he! he!) I have to agree, lack of internet/doors/phone calls etc would have brought me to a state of despair and I probably would have killed someone!

So.... You still alive?
 
I'm still a teen and I'm brilliant, working full time, doing my share of chores around the house, never asking my parents for money or to do anything really.

My sister on the other hand :lol:

Not removed the door - its one of her main training tools for the 2012 Olypmic Door Slamming event - we are worried that she may be peaking a touch early on this.

All silent at the moment - she probably wont emerge out of bed until at least 11 I expect. Actually I might send the dog in... :lol:

I did remove the door to the stroppy female-one on one memorable occasion after a lengthy bout of 'You're not my Dad - you can't tell me what to do' etc...after i told her she couldn't have a seperate lock on her bedroom door...

No I'm just the mug who pays all the bills, puts food on the table, gives you lifts, buys your clothes etc...
In the end I just yelled back - "No - your Dad's the one that hated you all so much he buggered off when you were three years old!"

Went very quiet for a while after that...

I'm now no longer married...lol

You could try attaching the door to the skirting board - then wait for the onslaught when she cannot slam it :lol:

You have my sympathy though it cannot be easy for you, lets hope she settles down quickly.

Foggy, a friend of mine is asking how much to hire this one for a couple of hours. He's convinced that his house is haunted and wants her to sit around and drive it out.

And while she's down here, I have a table I want the paint stripping off. Her just looking at it would save me hours of work.

try being divorced with two kids, actually you can hardly recognise that they were teenagers once. They become nicer as they get older but still think I have a pit where I keep all the spare money.
