Thanks Dave (I didn't even notice the danger signExcellent mono shot for 'Broken' Bill. Ticks all the boxes and the liittle danger sign adds so much!
Thanks Paul, I sometimes don't know when I've gone to far...Excellent set! Personally I don't find it at all overprocessed.
Thanks Pete, there were quite a few pieces of this glass on the beach, I think that this one worked out well.Lovely series Bill and I like the one you've picked. The broken glass shot appealed to me too.
Thank you Kell!Really strong chosen image, but I'm also drawn to the broken glass.
Thanks Wayne.Nice set Bill, a few good ones there. The glass is awesome, great picture for the wall that one.
I was going to taste it but then had Hulk-related images flash through my mind and I chickened out...Great set. The B+W shot is epic so the right choice
But I also really like the broken glass - the way it flows against the pebbles make it look like you've discovered something that'll give you superpowers!!

Thanks Keith, I always find the the colours in the moss spores make for excellent macros.Nice set there Bill, your chosen LE shot works well and great colours in the moss macro
LOL, thanks Tim.Good job I was paying attention when thinking about commenting, as I'd initially missed that you'd labeled this as Tech - oops.
I'm not really one for smoothed water, but the clouds look suitably menacing![]()
Thank you Simon!A nice selection Bill. I love your chosen shot.

Thanks Paul, I happy with how it turned out. I wasn't sure how to create a triptych in PS so I had to watch a couple of videos before I found one that I liked.Very nice indeed! The presentation seems to add texture of its own.
Thanks Ross, I did have a bit of trouble deciding which one to post but ultimately thought that I go with the narrow taller images. They're more evocative of trees in my mind.I particularly like the triptych! Great textures and framing them makes them 'pop' off the screen as the youth would say
Thanks Dave.Fab idea and works well![]()
Thank you AllanExcellent idea and well presented
Thanks Keith, yeah, I took quite a few shots without thinking of faces, until I took the last image in the quintych. The face in that one really jumped out for me.Good idea and has worked well, can see a few “faces” in the bark![]()
Thanks Megan!Great idea, the dogs are always good inspiration! The quintych is great, such a range of textures
Thanks Pete! That's a nice idea Bill and well put together. My favourite is the triptych.
I love the idea of combining them. Though I'm leaning towards the triptych.
We always talk in our business (creative advertising) about the rule of threes. There's something about three that appeals.

Thanks Allan.I like the one you put in the images thread, the last one here as it's quite intriguing.
The lack of depth of field and the general tone and feeling of it appeal to me
Thanks Paul, yeah I thought that I probably needed to add some context with the image. That works well.
Thanks for the explanation, I was a bit perplexed.
Thanks Keith, I played around with some different colour versions. The weather would have been perfect for this theme the week before. It's been a week of sunshine and warm weather followed by a week of cold, wet and cloudy...Nice set, think I prefer the colour version but that’s just me. Re the weather it’s been excellent over here for over a week- makes a change![]()

Love the first one of these - the lighting, depth and perspective are amazing, the background adds to it too!Week #14 Shadows
So, of course, we have shadows right when we're entering into an extended period of clouds and rain. I went downtown but just couldn't find anything that turned my crank...
I ended up messing around with a couple of old d&d figurines that I still have from my college days, along with a small desk lamp, Not my best of favourite images, but they'll do for the theme...
Here are a few of what I got:

A great set, and I really like your chosen shot.
I do wonder if it works a little better with the bright area at the top cropped off?
I like your chosen shot - but I too would lose that bright area at the top!
Good set but, as above, the bright bit at the top of trilliums shot is distracting.
Cherry blossom looks very nice, we have some ATM but will only last max couple of weeks.
.

Thanks Allan.A good set besides your chosen one I quite like the cherry blossom and the poor abandoned teddy bear.
Thanks Ross, I was using my Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 60mm macro lens (120mm equivalent).Absolutely beautiful cherry blossoms. I love the shallow focus, real dream-like quality to this
What lens are you using?
Thanks Kell, I'll have a look for it. I haven't been into Flickr for a long time.I really like the cherry blossom and the abandoned Teddy.
There's a Flickr group I'm in that's called TLOP (Things Left On Posts) to cater for, well... things left on posts, fences, railings, postboxes etc....
Thank you Simon!Hi Bill - Textures, Shadows and Snapper's all good sets as usual.
I particularly like the cherry blossom shot
Thanks Ross!Love the first one of these - the lighting, depth and perspective are amazing, the background adds to it too!
Very cinematic!!
