It's funny how comments like mine bring out the need in other men to mention how hard they are.
Yeah yeah... bugs you does it.. being such a big hard guy and all that.
I couldn't give a monkeys how hard they are.. damage my car, they get hit. If it turns out bad for me, that's to bad for me then isn't it. I don't see why you'd care, unless you're the type of person I'm talking about here.
Someone has to stand up to bullies. Just like the ones at school... I smacked them in the face too. Sometimes I'd get a good kicking for my troubles, but they never bullied me again, and on a few occasions, they actually stopped bullying others too: Worth it IMO. Sometimes you just have to take a beating to get any worthwhile results. It's not about being a hard man (as I'm not any such thing.. whatever that actually means any way), it's about letting bullies know that being able to throw their fists around doesn't give them impunity to do what they want. The videos I've seen of militant cyclists smacking people's mirrors out of shape, thumping car roofs (the easiest part of a car to dent) and other knobbish behaviour, just because they were a bit closer than they liked etc, just makes these people bullies. If you have a head cam, and you feel a diver has done something illegal or wrong, just pass the footage to the police instead of going on a vigilante style crusade on the internet. The former is just the sensible thing to do, the latter just makes you a prick,
In my experience though Keith... proper hard men don't behave like that any way. I know a couple of people I'd describe as proper hard men, and they're absolute gents, and the absolute opposite of a bully.
