Copyright Infringement - Have you been ripped off?

It can't be theft if you still have it. Theft is when someone deprives you of your property. Taking a copy doesn't do this.

That's why it has its own word - infringement.

So how did you get photos you have no rights over removed?
The exif information hadn't been removed. So they showed up in a simple Google image search :)

I think it was more to do with your comment below.
They weren't actually my images. It just p***es me off to see people stealing. It was an exercise in seeing what could be done as well as getting that particular FB page taken down.

Can you report images that aren't yours?

I've taken the easier route, not to have a facebook account. Social networking for me is down the pub.

I'm doing very little social networking on FB. It's for business.
 
The word theft doesn't appear once. It can't be theft as under common law, theft is the depriving of a person of their personal property.

Indeed. They seem to like the word infringement too. Probably because it's the correct word!
