Check out the Stellar brand.
I've been using most of the 6000 range for years and they're still going strong. Safe bet.
Like Andy previously, I also use a (Stellar) stockpot for most things these days due to it's large capacity - everything cooks nice and evenly:

I prefer the English, not the American spelling, and I also think that the Oxford dictionary is a good guide.

Ive got three Fissler fry pans from the tesco offer a while back - they seem pretty good, though they are buggering expensive if you arent buying them on offer.

Indeed - I paid next to naff all to Tesco for mine (it was one of those "collect six vouchers and get this for £12" deals - though you've missed it as they've moved on to crockery - which is a great shame as at the end i had so many vouchers i was giving them away (we fill the work vehicles up at tescos so we were getting about 18 vouchers a week))
Tesco were saying RRP £60 at the time , so even the cheaper link is over the odds

Yes but just in plain white (well off white because it was mixed with orange juice) no funky colours

When referring to the dish Chili Con Carne it's 1 L. I can't believe that the Oxford Dictionary is so thick they mix English with Spanish! Bloody idiots, no wonder I have this OCD thing about it!
