Hi!
I'm having to replace my brilliant old D70s as its compact flash reader has broken. I'm in the market for a second hand D80 or D200 which are both in the price range I can afford at the moment, but I'm wary of the D200 as it uses CF and not SD.
Am I just being paranoid because of the problems with my D70s? I know that CF cards are more physically robust than SD cards, and I don't believe, after careful inspection, I ever damaged the pins in my old camera. I just see a lot of people reporting the same reader problem that I had, and I'm wary of shelling out for the slightly more expensive D200 only to come across the same issue. I should point out that as a real amateur, I'm not worried about in the difference in the potential write speed, although other features of the D200, especially how robustly its built are appealing.
Any thoughts, really welcomed!
Thanks
