I think you could be right.Well seen and exposed. I think there might be a number of depressing photos this week...
I found it at the bottom of my garden. Those damned Gnomes and their parties...
They just can't be trusted!
Maybe its because they have no gnomes to go to?I hesitate to say good find but well spotted, why oh why with all the drop in centers and sharps disposal places about you have to put up with tankers like this is beyond me.

Cheers GarthSeriously though, it fits the theme perfectly, and is certainly thought provoking.
Nicely done Chris!![]()
at the spoilerGroanAnother nice sharp one![]()
Strangely Dave, they prefer the taste of sugar free over the "normal one" I'm sure its not for any healthy reasons thoughSugar Free Red bull though - healthy option?
Yeah lazy SOB's eh Alison? Those gnome I suppose they think the garden fairy will come and tidy it up.
Worrying isn't it?right on theme.
Indeed, it is a very sad state of affairsSad state of affairs.
Cheers Dave.Great shot.
Serious? I know I'm slipping.. I need to give myself a good slapDisturbing to see but definitely a sign of the times. A serious take on the theme.
Cheers Pete, I'm glad you like it.I like the lighting and processing and it certainly is on theme.
I think I'm gonna need a bigger syringeGreat for the theme and I have learned something, you can mainline Red Bull!
I know, that's the last time I buy Garden gnomes from GumtreeGod, not what you'd want to find in your garden.
Cheers TimBut certainly works for the theme.
Indeed it is StuartUnfortunately a common site in some places,
Thanks for you kind commentfits the theme perfectly
I don’t know if you set the composition up, but it works and fits the theme perfectly.
that's the last time I buy Garden gnomes from Gumtree rowdy lot!![]()
Thanks Bebut as a photographer you have succeeded in telling a story.
Thanks for dropping by StanMany comments have been made and I can only add, they both can get you high.![]()
sugar free Red Bull defies the purpose!
Cheers BrrndGreat story telling and great lighting.
Thanks KellI like the 'discarded' shot.
No reason to, great minds think alike and all thatHowever, as you got in there first, I looked for something else.
I've had a word with the Gnomes and they promised not to do it again PhilNicely composed shot but depressing and dangerous find in a garden.
Indeed it is MarkNicely spotted Chris a great fit for the theme and sadly a sign of the times.
Its OK Dom. The dog end went in the ash pot, the can went in to recycling and the syringe got washed out and put back in my box of propsThis is truly discarded and pretty awful really.
They just couldn't handle "Americano" HeatherCan’t believe the gnomes left a ml of “golden brown” in the syringe ;-) maybe the coffee was too strong for them
Cheers Dave I appreciate the kind commentsReally do love this Chris, same weather here too. It looks so moody and mystical looking and quite ghostly a great shot too.
for the technique
for the dark moody imageThank you and thank you PaulI will give you afor the technique
also afor the dark moody image
BUT (n) because there are no leaves on it
Cheers Tim, and its still bloody raining hereVery moody Chris andgetting the sillywet in those conditions.
It's not dared to rain here - I've got washing on the line!
"The day of the Elms" perhaps ?That would make a good film poster! Very nice dark silhouette!
A little bit of string hanging down in the shape of a noose would give this a real sinister look.
now why didn't I think of that? Thanks for the kind words Dom and actually I think you may well have a pointI really like it, dark and moody and even though you say the weather wasn't what you wanted, I think that the weather you did have has produced something that you may not have envisioned.
Just goes to show what I know about Bonsai trees, I thought they all had leaves on them, thanks for putting me straightThank you and thank you Paul
However its a deciduous tree and guess what , its still winter
There are however, tiny buds starting to appear![]()
