Hiya folks
I`m new here, my name`s Feebo (I`ve just done a thread in the welcome section) I have a cloning question for you. When I was looking through the threads on this forum to see if I liked the place (needless to say I was impressed) I saw your self portraits thread. In it were some exellent images, brilliantly inspired! The very next thing I wish to do with my day is learn how one of these cloning shots is done. I thought I could just do it so I gave it a go. I took three pictures using a tripod. One of the room, one of me on one side and then on the other. My plan was to show two examples of myself stood side by side. I`m obviously not quite the cleverclogs I thought I was because I can`t seem to get it right. lol I`m uploading the photos into photoshop CS2 in LAYERS. Then I`m selecting ALL, copy and paste into the next image, keeping one as a base. Now here`s where I`m going wrong, I thought adjusting the OPACITY would give me my result once the images were pasted into each other. I was wrong. All I get is two ghosts of myself. I tried using the history brush but that just gives me a weird finish that makes me look like I`m underwater. Five cups of tea later and I`m still not getting it right. Can anyone help me out please? I was really inspired by those photos and would like to do some of my own ideas......
Cheers, Feebo....
