OT – but only just. Mods, if there is a better forum for this please feel free to move it.
I have, or rather my father has, a pile of 8mm (standard 8) cine films dating from about 40 years ago. We would like to get these copied to DVD and are aware that while this perhaps could be done at home with a projector and digital video camera far better results are achievable by using dedicated professional equipment.
Does anyone have any experience of this and if so can anyone recommend a company that could do it for us. I guess that there is probably two to three hours worth in total.
Many thanks,
Andrew
