Hi. I'm a newbie and this is my first post, so I'm hoping I'm posing this question in the right place...
At the moment, I'm doing all my post-processing on a pretty cr*p laptop and am looking to buy a new desktop to make this job a bit more easy. I'm not a professional togger, just doing it for fun, but also want a screen I can callobrate properly and a reasonably fast processor to make the photoshopping a bit quicker and less painful.
Any hints for what to look out for on new computer - someone told me the graphics card is important if you are using photoshop, for example? I've been looking at this one :
Dell desktop
I don't have a huge budget for this so am not looking at something top of the range. Just really after ideas for the minimum I should be looking for given that I take and pp photos every day of the week. any advice gratefully received!
