LOL You'll see some shots for sure - whether I can do moody or not..... I dunno - I prefer driving 'em to takings pics. :woot:

Been offered a deal I couldn't really refuse today on a new car - not yet registered, Audi TT white coupe 'S' Line Limited edition, with 19" Titanium look alloys, bluetooth, ipod connection, manual short shift gearbox. Just lacks the Sat Nav, but a factory order for the same thing with sat nav would have been too much of a squeeze with the wonga and probably July delivery.

So that's it - deal done - probably picking it up next week and I'm well chuffed. :cool:
 
Good choice of colour. I have a white celica GT4 and like you, prefer driving it to cleaning & photoing it, having said that I do plan to do a shoot soon.

It's a dreadful car (MK7) poor quality materials and a driving position reminds me of my old MKII Transit, it's nowhere near as nice to drive though....
 
The correct answer is two cars!

I would have a Caterham and an E39 M5. Perfect combo.

E39s are getting on a bit and it sounds like you want something newer so an E60 5 series with warranty for £12k and you've still got change for an S1 Elise :)

Well I picked up the TT on Tuesday, and I couldn't be more chuffed with it. It just about ticks all the boxes for what I was looking for - straight line performance is about the same as the Civic Type-R but a much smoother ride and better comfort levels and loads of nice toys. No noticeable turbo lag - very nice linear, seamless power delivery. Steering and handlling is great from what I can see so far, although I am trying to be sensible and run it in for the first 1K miles. I don't think it would live with a well driven Type -R round the really twisty bits, but the Civic is arguably more of a track car than a road car anyway.

I'll try to get some pics at the weekend.

Even though someone has ragged it leaving the factory, someone else has ragged it again putting it on the boat to ship to England. Then someone else has ragged it again unloading it off the boat.:naughty:

Well it was basically to suit just two of us - room to get all the camera gear in the back - less 'in yer face' image than the Honda - nice interior - preferably reasonably quick - around £20K.

The TT ticks all the boxes except the £20K - that went out of the window a bit! :$
 
if you want a nice sounding hatchback, good subtle looks, mk5 R32. that's if space is required

but if you are looking for something a bit more sleek looking..hmm

time to think properly

what other criteria, economy, performance etc.

We had a bloke at work, (he retired about 8 yrs ago so you can guess his age) whenever he bought a new car he'd visit Halfords, or any car spares shop probably, and buy loads of reflectors. They'd go on his mudflaps, side of bumpers, white ones for the front of the car etc.:thinking::lol:
