"Madagascar"

This is from the Second night of "Dance Fever" - a show put on by Kirstens Dance Academy. I had the job of "Soundman" which gave me an unrivaled view of the stage and managed to get some fantastic shots :)

My girls go mad to "I Like To Move It!" in Madagascar. I can imagine that was great fun for your girls and her friends to perform on stage :)

"Lollipop, Lollipop!!"

Had a trip out the the Mottram Show today (the first time in a few years when it has not actually been called off due to poor weather) and had a great time watching the horses, dog shows etc.

"A Well Deserved Rest"

After what seems like a really long week, due to the dance production, we've not really done much today. The girls went to the pictures to see the Hannah Montana film, i Stayed at home and tidied the computer room up, then we sat down and enjoyed a nice indian takaway :)

They really enjoyed themselves.


There are more pictures on my LightProofBox site. At the moment, just the first two acts, but more will appear over the next few days. Took a total of 1499 pictures, and have to start sorting the keepers out.

Thanks JD - 123 was actually taken with my carry everywhere Olympus SW1030 compact using the fill flash setting for the flash. It pumps out some nice pictures for such a small thing :)

As for the sound - it all went without a hitch untill the last night when i hit the play button (after cueing track one up ready for the opening number) and the CD player jumped to the middle of track 7 :eek: :bang:

A quick :bat: :help: :runaway: and it was business as usual. The beauty of it being CD based is that once the track was playing i was free for 2-3 mins to take pics until we needed to get ready for then next track etc :)

Dad certainly does like that one, but dad is also annoyed at himself for missing the focus :bang: :annoyed:

"Who Needs Snow!!"

Rebecca went to 'Seven Springs' in Disley with Guides tonight for a night of Grass Sledging. Great fun was had by all!

Although this is not the sharpest picture of the night, it gives a good sense of what the night was all about - FUN!

Thanks Marc / Julian. The ones that had rebecca in focus with background motion blur just didn't have the same impact as this one :)

"Dont Leave Me This Way!"

We went to Rebeccas school for a meeting about her upcoming Paris trip tonight, and we decided to leave them both there LOL.

Dont worry, 14 hours and the caretaker will be there :-)

The little Oly compact was there ready for the moment as ever (never leave home without it!)

I find it produces some really nice image that convert well to mono.

Bit of a 'get out of jail free' shot tonight as the kids were busy, i was busy and before i knew it they were in bed - asleep!

"Lets Put Our Heads Together!"

Just messing with the kids tonight, coming up with ideas / angles / viewpoints for the upcoming 'Wide-Angle-Kids" week i'll be doing, and quite liked the way this crop of one of the images looked :)

Pink, my girls love the colour, had to paint both bedrooms pink. Girls will be girls :)
