Has anyone seen any cheap 36 exp 35mm b&w film for sale? Ive tried all the usual places and can’t find much 400 Foma or Kentmere for much under £5.50ish.

Depends how much you want, Speedgraphic have ten-packs of Kentmere (both 100 and 400) for £45.60 (plus £3.99 delivery for orders under £100). £4.75 for a single roll.

Think I got my last lot direct from harman themselves. Cheapest I could find when it was hunting around for more film to leave on a shelf

I ordered late Feb but now gone up 50p whether it's 24 or 36 exp or 120. In Feb p&p was £4.50 - I order 10+ to take the edge off the postage. I live 15 miles from their premises but I couldn't drive there and back for less than that.

This is the cheapest IMO, just avoid people selling short bulk rolls (15m bulk rolls that they charge 30m prices for in the hope you won't notice!) Bristol Cameras are showing 30m of Foma 400 for £47 which works out at £2.60/roll. You can usually pick up a daylight loader on eBay if you don't have one but that will obviously eat into any savings. Bulk rolls often go on sale when they're getting short dated so you can end up with some good deals on decent stock (HP5 / Tri-X etc) if you're prepared to hunt about a bit. It's also handy for making short rolls for camera testing etc because you can choose the number of exposures per can.

I do have a bulk loader but unfortunately dont have time to source the film and load the cassettes.

Managed to pick up some Fomapan 400 from Carmarthen Camera Centre, that should be enough.
