Has anyone seen any cheap 36 exp 35mm b&w film for sale? Ive tried all the usual places and can’t find much 400 Foma or Kentmere for much under £5.50ish.
This is the cheapest IMO, just avoid people selling short bulk rolls (15m bulk rolls that they charge 30m prices for in the hope you won't notice!) Bristol Cameras are showing 30m of Foma 400 for £47 which works out at £2.60/roll. You can usually pick up a daylight loader on eBay if you don't have one but that will obviously eat into any savings. Bulk rolls often go on sale when they're getting short dated so you can end up with some good deals on decent stock (HP5 / Tri-X etc) if you're prepared to hunt about a bit. It's also handy for making short rolls for camera testing etc because you can choose the number of exposures per can.Maybe consider investing in a bulk loader?
I do have a bulk loader but unfortunately dont have time to source the film and load the cassettes.Maybe consider investing in a bulk loader?
