A couple of half celebs - Nigel Kennedy, Martin Parry (the drummer from Fine Young Cannibals) is a mate, I've been mountainboarding with Mr. Muscle (from the advert!) and I sat next to Alistair McGowan on the train back to Leeds a while ago. He did a few imitations. Oh and I made Barbara Dickson a cup of tea. Rubbish, eh?

I remember meeting Mark Lawrenceson at a wedding, I know it was him, he came up and told me who he was. I still wasn't any the wiser

Local BBC people really. (Including the legend that is Gordon Burns :D)
I was about 10 feet away from Gail Porters arse once...I could have reached over and grabbed it, but managed to restrain myself..lol

I once hit Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders) with my luggage by mistake. I apologised and made my way outside, before someone told me who she was. lol

My favourite one though, is Sunny Lowry, who was the first British woman to swim the English Channel.

To many younguns, she wouldn't be a celebrity, but to me, she is what celebrity means. A real talent at something.

LOL @ Marcel!!!!

I've had a chat with Jim Davidson at Woking train station when I worked there.
Also spent a fair bit of time with Andy Rourke who was the bass player for The Smiths (my fave music, so I was well chuffed!!)

Got both the above autographs, and also got Bruce Foxton (from The Jam, 2nd fave group :D )

Seen many more, but not really spoke to them or got autographs.

We, as a family had a chat with Catherine Tate outside the Royal Albert Hall, and a briefer conversation with Russell T Davies.

My son got Lewis Hamiltons autograph at Goodwood, and I got a crap snapshot... all the settings were wrong :bang: (focal length, shutter speed Tv mode)... and he was only 2 feet away

hmmm well..Jane Torvill, John Stapleton, Dan off The Darkness, Ben Fogel, erm....Michael Palin erm....no real megastars there i admit, but still..

No one that any of you youngsters will know.

Just the D of E, Margaret Thatcher, most England cricketers from the early 70s, ditto most F1 drivers

I bumped into Todd from Neighbours (you have to be over 30 for that one) literally one Christmas. He was in panto in my home town when I was at College.
Must of thought of me as a nutter. I didn't realise until about 30 seconds later, then turned around and he'd gone!

Once sold Kate Bush a radio cassette.

Sold Tony Knowles (remember him? snooker player) a set of AA batteries.

which one was todd? the name rings a bell, but cant place who he was

Still waiting to see if anyone has met a celeb then :D

Seriously, anyone that has been in Big Brother, or "I am a Celebrity" (the name is misleading for a start) is NOT a celeb. They are washed up TV/soap stars trying to make a pathetic attempt at making a comeback.

Ill stop now, I really hate these shows with a passion and I *will* rant about them :D

I sat with Toya Wilcox on a train once and we had a good old natter, really nice lady.

Met Albert Tatlock (real name unknown)

Andre Previn I met on a flight out of Germany.

I used to work for Weslely Clark (US presidential candidate when George Dubya won) When I was serving in NATO (SHAPE)

Alan Titchmarsh once tapped me on the shoulder in Winchester market and asked me who I was buying flowers for.

I met Princess Anne at Buck House who gave me a mini tour of the reception rooms. I met Paul Burrell in my mother-in-laws house many years ago. I was also introduced to Princess Diana when I was living in Hong Kong.

Had a beer with Roy MacFarland.

stingray from neighbours
girls aloud at a petrol station somewhere in the west midlands
tim noble (kylies choreographer) got drunk with him in paris, that was fun

I once spend the night with Bill Oddie, Tim Brook-Taylor and Graeme Garden when they were filming an episode where the moon was covered in rabbits. I worked at a rabbit and goat farm at the time and we supplied the rabbits and spent ages making sure they stayed roughly in place and that we went home with as many as we went out with.

Used to regularly go and see Jim Davidson before he got famous and have a drink after his performance

Tim Wonnacott from Bargain Hunt

Over the years I've met quite a number of musicians, writers and producers. I had the pleasure of meeting the guitar players Les Paul and Tommy Tedesco (you've heard him play) and worked with quite a few others.
I've never really been interested in meeting anyone who's considered a celebrity - although there's a few I'd like to have met who are now dead (Marilyn Monroe, Harpo Marx, Lana Turner, George Gershwin, Alexander Woolcott, Cole Porter, Stan Laurel, etc).

I met all of the 1987 European Ryder Cup team when I won a competition to attend the Ryder Cup in USA. Flew there and back on Concorde with the team. Seve, Nick Faldo, Tony Jacklin et al were really cool. Best was getting p*****d with Woosnam and Torrance at the celebration party

Met Damon Hill when he drove me round Donnington circuit in a 2 seater formula 1 car for Thunder in the Park a few years ago. Met Murray Walker too..... legend.
