I can see it's affected your avatar:D

it wasn't a joke, at 1st glance I thought it was a picture of an old lady with al murray, then I though it must have been in his younger days when he had hair then I realised the old lady was the celebrity

get your old school blazer out and you could make money on the look-a-like circuit :woot:

My favourite was Tommy Cooper, I was duty manager in a big posh Nottingham hotel he stayed in. He didn't like any of the food on the a la carte menu so I had to go out and buy him fish & chips! He was just as barking in real life as he was on stage... especially after a few G&T's (which he was rather fond of).

He did that legendary gag on one of the waiters too... gave him an envelope and said "Have a drink on me". When the waiter opened the envelope it had a tea bag inside!

A legend... RIP!
:notworthy:

That brings back memories. Don Estelle (for it was he) and Windsor Davies did a tour round various record outlets to flog their record - the old Inkspots number 'Whispering Grass'.

I saw them in Woolworths believe it or not. Cannot remember which Woolies it was though.

Anthony.

Sorry but Glyn from Big Brother is one of those famous for being famous people.

Once shared my chips with the Sensational Alex Harvey
Gave a fag to Rick Wakeman
Was at numerous parties with Lenny Henry admittedly before he was famous
