Captive: A nice take on the theme I like the lighting

Metal: 2 nice shots I want to like the 2nd more but find the highlight in the water a little distracting

Miniature A brilliant take on theme
 
A great effort and certainly one were less likely to see replicated I'd imagine!

Like the choice of page on the monitor and the stance / expression used to appear deep in thought?

The monitor brightness is a little harsh for me, but I think that's because of the lack of light surrounding it. In hindsight, I wouldn't change it though! Well done.
 
Miniature - that's a cracking shot! A lot of 52'ers did something along the same lines, but your looks more plausible than most.
 
Very clever idea, wish i could do something like this

Thanks Phil. Yes there were quite a few. I thought I had done ok at the time then when seeing others come up as the week went by I felt mine was poor.

Happy selfie !!! Could not think, for the life of me anything original or different for this theme. I didnt really want to upload an old image as my reason for tryng the 52 week thing again was to make me take photos.
So embarrassing as this maybe here it is. Not sure wether this is madness scaryness or indeed happyness !!!!

Well, what can I say Gary - nicely taken, great fun image ... don't be hurt by this but ..... think you may well have killed off the blind date scene for the blokes ... well, maybe a bit harsh, let's say a few blokes.
 
What a crazy shot, you deserved a like for being brave enough to post :) That aside I do like it and it definitely has a happy feel about it.

'Happy' is a well-taken, if slightly disturbing, shot. 'Abandoned' is brilliant, love everything about it.
 
Fabulous shot Gary. I love the DOF and composition, and particularly that the person is in the middle of the road so they really stand out.

Hi, Happy has just freaked me out, very funny though, capture works very well, well thought through
 
Happy - brilliant, funny, crazy and wonderful. Effective lighting as others have said - looks almost on axis but it works well!

Abandoned is a belter - great thinking behind it and nicely captured. Dealt with the window well and the OOF street and "owner" works very well. Super capture :)

Thanks Paul. Yes it was on axis.I bought a used 580 ex on here a while back.It was a real bargain ! The seller threw in one of those ring flash adapters like a Ray flash only a different/cheaper brand.It had just been sat here for 12 months. So gave it a try.

Abandoned, is also good, sad in many ways.
