I'm having a problem with a memory card, although after today it seems like the camera is the problem.
I took some pictures on a Nikon at university, and using a card reader I transferred them (SD card) to my own Canon camera card (CompactFlash), so when I got home I could play around with them. When I turned on the camera, it gave a card error, I figured it just couldn't read the Nikon raw format or whatever, so I managed to get the images off the card using a card reader, and today I deleted all the images off the card to, however, i'm still getting a card error. If I try to format on the camera, it gives another error, but my technician at uni, where I was using this Nikon, formatted the card in a Nikon camera, and we thought we got somewhere, until I found it gave the same error. OK, so the cards buggered, it sucks but whatever, I thought. I tried another CompactFlash card only to find I get the same error with that one too! Surely transferring Nikon raw files to a Canon camera and turning on the camera isn't enough to completely b****r a camera?
