Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone could offer any advice on a cheap Canon lens choice?
I currently have the 17-40L which is great but as I only own one Canon camera and lens (I'm primarily a film shooter & also a Nikon user - double whammy right there!
) it feels like too much lens for only very occasional use. Basically, I wondered if there was a cheaper alternative that could get me reasonable/half decent results & allow me to sell the 17-40L to fund more glass for my other camera systems? It would be used only for landscapes, tripod mounted most of the time & usually stepped down for my landscape work, on a crop body (500D) & for prints usually not made over 12"x12"
If there's nothing then I'll just hang onto the 17-40 but it'd be nice to free up a bit of cash for other kit if at all possible.
Cheers in advance for any help/advice anyone may have,
Mike
