Why not? and I think VAT is about to rise soon folks:bang:I don't think there's any duty on digital cameras, there would be VAT at 15% of course,
B&H have them at $499... looks like we get shafted again..
Although Simply electronics have them at £489.. now THATS a bargain!!!

The viewfinder is limited but at least it has one unlike most compacts on the market now
For macro I find it's pretty good and them movable screen is a huge advantage over the G10's fixed screen
Not sure what you're referring to re 'non-electronic'
not an item of beauty though is it? Looks rather like a water-pistol camera I had as a child!
Look more like a rangerfinder camera to me
mrcrow IF you read my post I was only making a reply to the comment of it looking like a water pistol
A few point to your comments
Some rangefinders had interchangeable lens but not all.
Looks have nothing to do with the usage or quietly of the camera, we all know that, but how it feels in your hands do make a difference.
As for the screen it is good for macro you have a big screen you can see the focus and DOF more then you can in a viewfinder.
As for price no one is tell you to buy one.
But please read what you are replying to first
Look more like a rangerfinder camera to me
this is the post i was quoting...no pistol there old chap
whats your take on that ..:|
But why did they have to go and produce it in a plastic body!?
My guess would be a combination of cost and weight. But why did they have to go and produce it in a plastic body!?
The G10 was over £400 for most of its life.
NO this is what you replied to

You took it out of context.
It so easy to change the meaning of things when you take them out of context it happens a lot in the press that why you cannot believe them all the time.
