It's quite a challenge shooting indoors if you haven't got a tripod or a flash as there's usually not enough light to be able to shoot a photo hand held (usually need at least 1/100 sec shutter time to not have noticeable camera shake).
It's quite sunny here (London) atm, I'd say go outside and use the natural light.
Also I think it's better to start shooting Jpegs rather than RAW initially. Once you have more experience with post processing then use RAW as RAW needs sharpening whereas with Jpegs they are sharpened by the camera.
Congrats on getting your new camera, I'm envious. Bought mine today online and it could be up to 5 days before it's delivered and I can't wait. Hope you have a good time out with it tomorrow and look forward to seeing results of your work![]()
I will try not to post too may shots of the inside of my lens cap!
lol got to practice on something right? No doubt the first couple of shots will be pretty crappy, out of my first 200 shots I was only happy with 2 of them. Main thing is to keep snapping, trying out different settings and do a bit of post processing.
Everything will get easier after a while and your photos will magically be better![]()
...ive already taken 100s of shots not happy with most of them, trying out all the settings one by one , this is educational stuff.
