Cameron's gone

What's that matter?

Why should you be allowed to change jobs but others cant?

Why shouldn't they continue as mp for their constituents?
What makes them unable to work for the folk that put them in their position, just get in the limelight and then b****r you lot,i'm off to make a few million...scum, the lot of them..

See that just flies in the face of the human rights act, specifically the freedom of movement
Freedom of movement asserts that a citizen of a state in which that citizen is present has the liberty to travel, reside in, and/or work in any part of the state where one pleases within the limits of respect for the liberty and rights of others, and to leave that state and return at any time.

[QUOTE="tom24, post: 7554805, member: 77494"Anyway, a good few until I served my community and until I couldn't anymore due to physical injury.[/QUOTE]

Ooh intrigue. What did you do?

I've done stuff I thought was interesting, which turned out to be boring, dull, most of the time. I certainly wouldn't have done it if someone told me that would be my lifetime vocation and nothing else.

I held the office of Constable with the consent of my country fellows, to protect their lives and property and to report facts to the Procurator Fiscal in the interests of the community.

Accountable only to the law of the land and the people therein, Not to anyone else, lol

Certainly had it's moments, good and bad.

Well done, but you haven't continued ad infinitum, were allowed to leave, and probably have a very good public service pension. So why should an MP continue for ever until voted out?

I am sure he won't find it hard to continue earning money, Blair has done fairly well.

He did a poor job of trying to sell us the EU during the referendum, I would far rather proper facts than the slagging match it turned into.

In my opinion you are better off in the tent peeing out than out the tent peeing in but I understand why others have a differing opinion. People on both sides voted based on poor and biased information instead of facts.

At the end of the day, brexit or not, Labour are in such a mess that I don't see them having a hope in hell of winning the next election so I reckon we will have the tories in power for a while yet.

Apparently he's touting for a book deal. No surprises there.

You really think he needs to tout?
The publishing houses will be fighting amongst themselves to get it.
All he has to do is wait for the highest offer, and if he's smart, a deal that includes his approval on the final edit.

I wonder when we can pre-order?
