Yes
Does he want to get as far away from the brexit bomb as possible before it goes off?

Or perhaps he's just had enough of the whole game.
Can't really say I blame him.

Mis read that as 'Cameras gone' thought you had been robbed. Phew!

That would have been worse........................................................................maybe? :D

Oh yes, because the country was in SUCH good shape when he became Prime Minister.

It's the right decision. Goodbye and good luck in your new job. Let us know if there are any good jobs going.

He's done a fantastic job with the coalition steering us through the mess that we were left with. I think his mistake was to get so personally involved with the EU referendum which left himy with no option to continue if he didn't win.

Good riddance to another arrogant git

I agree with Tom, good riddance to him, he did more damage than any other politician and was the worst Prime minister in the history of British politics, thank goodness the man has gone! :)

They're all six and half a dozen from whichever party, no favourites, they'll all get the same cold shoulder from me..lol

Oh and a wire brush and Dettol for their ablutions if I had my way...

Forget the Dettol.

Come to think of it, a wire brush and Dettol is probably a fetish among some of them.

Who then undid any good work he'd done by calling an ill conceived in out ballot on the eu which he was so arrogant about it never occurred to him he might loose! He has set this countries politics back 30 years and given power to the most vile greedy and self centred section of his party. If the poor always have it bad under a Tory government they will sure as hell have it worse under the current one. I think May has cher's if I could turn back time playing on repeat during all policy discussions!

Indeed Alex, as have they helped stoke up the racists with a Tally Ho! as they somehow think that all in the garden will be rosy by tea time

Time will tell. In hindsight he could have enabled the best opportunity for the UK in 4 decades. Way to early to tell. Netherlands will be next, Denmark will follow closely. A shake up of the EU is needed. But hey there is already a big thread of that to start calling 17 million people racist :sigh: what a lot of nonsense @tom24

In modern politics or ever? even after Gordon Brown and the mess labour left?

Brexit was ill judged but with the rise at the last election of electorate looking to the far right, the rise of rhetoric by some, it was seen as a way of placating voters at the time allowing him to win what turned out to be a comfortable victory. The Brexit vote wasn't helped by the current poor leadership and infighting in the Labour party.

Arrogant? What was he to do - he'd promised a referendum and went through with it, rather than backtracking on that, or putting it off.

I've no doubt he's lost interest in politics, you've had the biggest job, lost it and there would be continued media interest if he stayed as a back bencher. Look what happens everytime Blair opens his mouth about the party. It's also why David Milliband got out of Politics so he wouldn't affect his brother, so no surprise he's going.

2 months - about the right time to find another job.

What makes them unable to work for the folk that put them in their position, just get in the limelight and then b****r you lot,i'm off to make a few million...scum, the lot of them..

It's not the possibility of brexit that bothers me it's 4 years of a much further right Tory government using it an excuse for screwing those in the middle and the bottom while they and there rich friends get even richer! The make up of our current government and the noises coming from it are frightening!

Never called 17 million folk racist, I find that they have enabled racists to come out of the shadows thinking they've won a mandate to harass

I'll accept your apology in advance as i'm off out, ta

Seriously those at the bottom are paying less tax now then under the previous government. But hey we choose this government, don't forget that if we want a change! The power is ours to make a difference.

Yeah right, idiots are always there. The question was simple in or out of the EU, nothing to do with racism. And to hang that on David Cameron is just plain ridiculous.

What gives you the right to think someone should remain in a job they may no longer have any interest in. And you claim he is the arrogant one.

I give me the right to my opinion on those elected by the community.

Raising the income tax threshold was a lib dem policy!

Most of us have no influence on who wins the election I didn't vote Tory but I could have voted for anyone and our mp would still be our mp his majority is pretty solid and once the Government have forced through it's proposed boundary changes we will be facing a Tory majority for the foreseeable future unless the Labour Party has a miraculous recovery north of the boarder which seems about as likely as a conservative led Scottish Parliament!

So your opinion is once elected, stay in office until you die or fail to get elected. The arrogance is all yours.

Until they fail to get elected would do

How many jobs have you had?

Me I've had a few, mostly moved on because circumstances changed and that job didn't suit me (or I didn't suit the job)

It was indeed, and the PM agrees with it! And followed it through.

What's that matter?

Anyway, a good few until I served my community and until I couldn't anymore due to physical injury.

I think that if I had been in a job rubbing shoulders with all the world leaders of note and dealing with matters of the utmost national security etc. etc. I just could not go back to Saturday morning surgery listening to someone whingeing about a bus stop being built near their house or a hole in the pavement that the council are taking forever to repair.
