Thanks for all the support, it is appreciated. The bride and groom are aware of what has happened and the fact that there are missing images and they are fine about. Apparently the police and the hotel are liaising with regards to CCTV footage but I'm not holding out much hope due to the limited coverage.
On another note the insurance company have been very good to date. They e-mailed me the claim form yesterday which they received today, it has been outline approved and they are waiting for quotes from suppliers which should come through later today or tomorrow. I have been pleasantly surprised by this turn of events as I thought it would take weeks to get sorted and so far I cannot recommend

The 85mm from Lenses for Hire was also insured (luckily) through their own scheme and Stewart has been dealing with that end of things, the only downside is that I have two lots of excess to pay. :shake:
