Sounds like a photo journalism opportunity to me - I bet lynton and the crew go along ... just to ensure appropriate coverage of such an import event, natch
I suppose its okay if you (that is the mother) expresses milk to use for the purpose ... using formala is a bad idea though imo
note on this if you are expressing milk for a feed FFS label the bottle - my mate chris once made a round of coffee using the breast milk that was in the fridge because the bottle was unlabled
to be fair it tasted okay at thetime, but when werealised what he'd done it was a bit![]()
I've always been a bum man, but i wonder if its a link between boob men and whether they were breast fed or not?![]()
Do you write your own material? You should be on radio with stuff like that!!
I'm actually working with a pregnant girl in the office at the moment. I'll let you know how she reacts![]()
Ah well, that worked out well. I'm still licking my lips![]()
Never understood what the sexual obsession with breasts is, tbh.
Well when I did biology at school, they were classified as 'erogenous zones' - of course that idea may have changed in the last 25 years![]()
I seriously feel I lost out with 12 years of catholic education.
(I went to a Catholic School too) hey....the teachers all said that to get the best marks, make your paper stand out...

There's a big mass-breast-feeding event in Norwich somewhere, where lots of women are meeting up to all breast feed at once.
Now, while I'm pro-breast-feeding, and don't understand why anyone is remotely offended by it. I find that idea, a tad creepy.
It's an international event - happening all over the place. There's one in Northumberland somewhere.Blimey, I assume they all have babies - or something - to feed?
yeah but they taught you to be a good girl - that's invaluable![]()

I'm currently breastfeeding and honestly, I don't know how mothers who formula feed cope....summit wrong? Have some milk.... hungry? Have some milk....tired?? Have some milk....bashed your head when you fell again? Have some milk....I admit that I hate nursing in public when lots of people are around, going about their business, but children's comments can be amusing. Only ever had 2 experiences so far, where I felt truly uncomfortable though.

Fair dues. I see absolutely nothing wrong with a mother breast feeding her child anywhere but it happens every day all over the world, naturally. What's the purpose of making it a "day" thing? Do (western?) women generally feel uncomfortable breast-feeding in public? (Honest question - I've not idea what the score is.)

I hate nursing in public. Little one gets distracted, making it more of a challenge (and more likely for little one to bite when distracted, or lose her latch). I also like attention drawn to me on my own terms (anxiety issues) so even when people just generally look at my little one, in her pram or carrier, sometimes I'm uncomfortable. The thought of someone saying something negative scares the life out of me!
