Hi Lynne, just a quick catch up.
Process, Nice DOF and I love the pretty pink flower. It works for the theme and I didnt notice the pointy bits behind the bloom until you mentioned them!
Rock, cracking shot, lovely contrast and foreground detail, the cloud really draws my eye into the distance
Pair, is that cheating? I really like them as theyre very calming, could make very nice greeting cards. I like the B&W ones but the colour are more pleasing on the eye.
Reshoot, I have to go with below. Having stalked these little buggers nearly the whole time I was on sick leave I know how difficult they are to catch in focus, youve done a great job here
Shape, again Im going with the colour version. Lovely contrast between the straight and the bits on the end. I like the varying DOF.
Plenty, if only you could have seen the future for last weeks theme :bonk: The bike shots are great, and although shoe horned they work for me! Is there any reason why your siggy is right through the shots? As for the crops, why didnt you get out there with some gardening tools to straighten things up
Speed, Im not sure on the composition as in maybe they should be in a line, or varying speed across the shot, but I imagine that to be a nightmare! But I do like the fact the little wooden ball things on all three are in focus
Steps, hahahahahaha, youve spent too much time with Iain and stolen his props! Not complaining though I think it works really well. I would maybe twist the left hand out in a more balanced pose and sort his posture out
Oh and Im sire Iain would love to see a little drop shadow to finish the photo off !
Cheers, glad youve signed up for another year already! I intend to participate a lot more next year!
