Fairy Platinum? Well la-de-dah, very fancy!![]()
Hi, as I recall Kind was an integral part of the advertising for Fairy Liquid so on theme for me.
Well composed and good detail. I know the labels are what they are but you lot have given me OCD and their not aligned...nowt yu could do about that, though. Sme nice soft light would be good, but, I appreciate time is limited with you. You need more staff
Hope your trip to the NMA was fruitful.
Cheers.
Spot on theme.
I like the way the bubbles sort of frame the bottle but still stand out against the background.
Hi Lynne
Kind - Good idea that, nicely lit and Very Bubbly![]()
Great Idea and I am impressed that you were able to make it interesting. Well done
Blokey comment - (what is it by the way)

C'mon Brian. It's shampoo![]()
Hi Lynne
I think thats fair enough for the theme, the crowbar has been out this week I used it myself
I would maybe have tried a darker BG just to bring out the bubbles but its not what you were aiming for.
I agree who is coming up with these themes

Fairy Platinum? Well la-de-dah, very fancy!
Nice idea though Lynne, and well put together. I think the bubbles blend into the background a bit too much on the right, but otherwise a solid product shot.
simple idea cracks tricky theme...
works well for me, nice and bright but still keeping detail in all the bright bubbly bits, good and sharp on the bottle, and the only bit I'm left wondering on is whether the top should be open or not.....
and if that's all I'm wondering about - it must be a good 'un!
Hi Lynne
Kind - on theme for me even tho the advert jingle was 'Now hands that do dishes can feel soft as your face with mild green fairy liquid' -but that old crowbar never gets chance to get rusty
Tough shot with that lighting and I wolud have chickened out and gone for the black b/g. Well handled - good bubbles, good colours and excellent sharpness. Good point made by Graham about the open top.

I'm just waiting for the parallel to be drawn between washing up liquid bottle caps,..... and toilet seats..![]()

Just passing through
Why 13 seconds?
Good take on the theme. Like the lighting and details in the bubbles.
Good thinking!
I really like the white on white on white feel, with the sharp contrast of the red and green really jumping out.
Oh my goodness Lynne, I seem to have missed your thread big time too! Sorry about that!
Sin, The lighting works really well in that, really gives it an atmosphere.
Season, Great idea, good dof and composition. Like it.
Gravity, Like it, the blue is really bold but it works very well. Kind of like the one with 2 glasses in a bit more.
Wild, Super b+w and I really like the lone tree, A great sky too.
Space, A tricky subject, very well taken.
Work, Nice idea and certainly fits the theme.
Gluttony, Looks yummy, nice pic.
Time, That clock is reallu nice, the colours are nice too.
Juxtaposition, Ideal subjects there, well taken.
Letter, number 2, I like that a lot. Just seen letter 1, thats excellent!
Electric, Very good, Like the middle one on your flickr.
Direction, All really good, I like the arrows on the road and those signs look great.
Tacky, I almost want this to be a triptych for some reason. Like the matching colours you have put in your border.
Greed, Both pics work very well.
Value, Looks good, bg looks a little pale in places, but that could be my screen.
Angle, Both of those are great, can't choose between them. Must try photographing bikes at some point.
Rustic, Nice pp and picture, the border is growing on me I think.
Kind, Didn't even think of that sort of an idea. Nicely taken.

No crowbar required Lynne, I think it's on theme.
Technically very good, sharpness, well lit and composition works well with the bubbles framing the bottle.
As someone mentioned above, could easily be a product shot.
Good work Missus![]()

Lovely greens in that shot
Hi, Lynne, Vertical #1 for me. The greens are stunning, as is the detail throughout is great. Well composed as well. Crit, very minor point is the bright bit at the very top. Yeah, like this one.
Vertical #2, quite like this one, especially the leaves at the bottom.
Angles #1 for me. Quite abstract and minimal. Shadows are great, aren't they. Crit, well, I'd like to see all the shadows are sharp as those in the center.
Cheers.

Hi Lynne
Vertical - The first one for me by far, would have liked the main trunk going up the shot for 2/3, but as you say gotta keep away from the doggy doosLovely greens in that shot
Re-Shoot - Angles 2 for me, again I would prefer more building and less sky, but the lines lead into the pic very nicely![]()
Hi lynne
number one of the verticals for me lovely colour and exposure i also tried a vertical; pan not sure if mine worked either, i really like the shadow pic for angles
and what you have learnt today![]()
Hiya Lynne
Love the ICM for vertical, it's not as easy as it looks is it? and it's the first angles for me, I'm just an abstract kind of a guy I suppose!
only 5 days till the new theme!![]()

Good work all round Missus
I like the vertical pan, the abstract nature of it with the bright vivid colours come together well.
Reshoot angles, love it
I think you could push the contrast even more but thats minor.
lovely shot looking up into the tree - good job keeping the colour and detail in the shadows under the branches . Love the green of the leaves!
and the building for angles for me too, and I'd happily trade a bit of sky for a bit more of the building though.
Love the tree looking up, almost makes you dizzy.

Kind, takes me back to the 70's adverts as a child of course. Nice idea and well executed, could you have also done a bit of a selfie with just your hands and bubbles as that's the whole selling point being kind to your hands.
Vertical, I had a similar idea on my bike ride today but my thoughts were firmly on the Viaduct. Lovely lush green tones tis shame the sky peaking through wasn't blue.
The vertical pan looks like artwork for a Horror film in the woods ooooh Evil Dead.

There goes my first and second idea, doh. Still my tree probably won't have been as good. Great colours and texture.
Love the tones in the canopy on Vertical, my eyes just follow the limbs around from one green to the next.
The second Angles reshoot is great. The symmetry, angles and the subtle interest in the sky works really well.

OO err missus they are very good, really like the crop on the leaf and the flutterby is lovely. It looks sharp enough to me.

Eeekk, I did a leafnice green and detail. Square crop works for me.
The butterfly is a cracker. Great detail, composition and DOF.
Cheers.
Butterfly gets my vote Lynne
Perfect, just perfect![]()
Love that butterfly shot. Fantastic work Lynne.
