Out of interest do either of you two know whether or not I would require a credit card to enter into that contract. Don't have a CC and not planning on getting one either!
sounds like youve made your mind up, but personally i wouldnt..
watch out for additional blackberry taffifs also.
remember that this BB has no 3G so internet will be really slow on it....good enough for email but thats it...
What email service are you planning to use?
They are excellent so long as you use a blackberry email address eg the one VM give you, but exchange support is a mare to do and a bodge job.
BIS is very good for normal domestic ISP email, never had any problems (my office isn't big enough to warrant an exchanger server).

For the money you are looking to spend, check out getting a 3G or 3Gs iPhone. I have had a work BB too, and would choose the iPhone for its OS and compatibility any day of the week.
Totally disagree. Set up email on Blackberry for aol account in less than 30 seconds and it works perfectly. Now done that on five Blackberry phones. Email efficiency and practicality is great. I use it here and in the US with no problems.
9000 is also a good phone for the basic function of making phone calls.
The apps are c**p

There Blackberry Curve 3G does.

i dont like the multiple email account handling on the 8520 either.. dumps it all in one big inbox.
It needn't, IIRC from my 8820 (which should be running the same OS) you could hide individual mailboxes and just have the one combined mailbox or you could unhide the individual mailboxes if you preferred to keep them seperate, you can also do the same with SMSs.
none of us in the IT dept could see any option to split them out? doesnt matter now as i have my personal desire..
You did show all, unhid the individual mailboxes, hid the combined mailbox then undid show all.
I have thought about HTC. It's just the price though, they seem pretty expensive, and a lot of them have touch keyboards, which I would rather avoid. Do you know of any that have QWERTY none touch keyboard?
+1I would like to repeatedly smash my Storm with as many different type of hammer as possible.
but I heard a big block of c4 is more exciting
