Bitten by a dog ... grrrr

Since we're onto vehicle emissions, did you know the University of Wales in Aberystwyth are doign a study into the green house gases emitted by cows. Apparently they account for around 3% of the UK's emissions and between 25-30% of methane. Considering a lot of methane from landfill is now being captured and converted to electricity, that's a lot of possible power being lost whilst polluting the environment :D
Cow power, not horse power

What was it you wanted to do, as you said you went to uni to get the job you wanted? And what did you end up doing?

I wanted to be a tree

I've not ended up doing anything, I'm inbetween jobs working in somewhere to pay bills and look after children. if what I'm doing was to be a career I'd kill myself

I read the title of this thread and clicked, thinking it'd be an amusing anecdote about a dog which turned out to be a werewolf and only being able to communicate in growls.

I'm quite disappointed. :(

Has the dog recovered yet?

And there was me thinking @ST4 didn't like dogs. Damn it is that reverse psychology again, he only likes them from behind.

Reminds me of a girl I used to know. Had a spare room that looked liked Vlad the Impailer's torture chamber.
Was she a psychiatrist by day? If so, I've dated her as well

Trust me I wish I had. I'm still bleaching my brain 14 years later.

Its so much fun being able to read edits ;)

Thanks! Thanks a lot!! That helps!

I like dogs. I like cats. I don't dislike smokers. I like cars and I like driving fast.

But I hate cyclists!!! :rage: :p

The GL is a necessity with the children, home pets and our door pets. still wanted something powerful :) if it was just my lovely wife and I it would be something lower, and ever wider and louder.....hopefully in twelve years from now :p

SLS AMG? I have a friend with one, went for a Jolly in the lakes. He and his mrs don't have kids, it was an epic car. 12 years you'll pick one up for less you paid for that Golf. Fills the brief of being wider, lower and louder than a GL but re-assuringly Mercedes like.

Car wise, Audi A8 or S class for me. I want luxury next time around. Something I am happy NOT speeding in :D

Especially for you :) A dog, a car, a horse and two reasonably fast 4wd cars. And as a bonus there is a child in one of the photos, I'm sure someone on here hates those as well.

It's a bit much taking the car off road to chase the horses...

So the big question is - what did the OP do next (after typing on an internet forum)?

It actually does do that at times to help my daughter round them up and bring stuff. I belief in using these things and it's very very capable, and with the automatic air suspension it keeps you nice and level :)
