I'm stuffed anyway, I'm fat and lazyAll over Facebook, people are using this as "evidence" that they don't need to lose weight.
Truly, I despair.
Most lazy people are fat and most fat people are lazy, is that a coincidence?

As a extremely fat person (plenty on here have met me and can attest to just how fat I really am)....I do hate other thinner people who claim to be too fat to exercise or work etc...those that have me on my personal Facebook will know what I'm going though now in an effort to improve my weight and general health and fitness
- however he also defines the term determined and spirited in his campaign to reduce his circumference and I can testify that he's not lazy and no more obnoxious than say me.It's a funny one

A lot of people I know exercise not to get fit but because they are overweight.
I do little over and above my normal exercise which isn't a lot. As a result I could be a lot fitter.
I was like that until i turned 30 - then I suddenly went up from a 34 inch to a 38 inch waist in about 18 months
Same here till i hit Forty,i do have a brisk walk most days for about 40 min

I'll be 44 this year so I'm not complaining on the weight front.
6 foot (perhaps 5' 11) and always around 12 stone.
Am I fit - no way near what I used to be.
I reckon if I'd put on weight - I'd have been driven to exercise and would be fitter for it.
If you eat more calories than you burn off, you will put weight on.

If you slob in front of the telly stuffing pizza, you will be fat.
If you walk or cycle or do anything else that burns calories, you won`t be a fat .
Why is that so difficult for some people to understand?
I`m sure a myriad of excuses will come, but in reality, there are none.
Actually that is a little too simplistic there are valid medical reason why some people will be overweight from some medication, physical admonalities to hormonal imbalance...though I'm not going to be so crass as to claim that in my own case....the majority of my weight comes from gluttony and under activity...
Under activity - You could walk up to Fillongley Hall gatehouse (the Lodge) and get that image of my grandparents house that we spoke of a few years back

Sod walking it's about 12-15 miles from me, however after getting on for 2 years of being off the road I am slowly getting back behind the wheel, and as soon as I can that will be doneI never forget a promise

I have always eaten healthy foods, I drink one night a week and go to the gym 3 times a week where I do a 40 minute spin class, 30 minutes on a cross trainer then run a mile in about 7-8 minutes and finish off with half an hour on resistance training. I'm 51 years old and according to my bmi index am overweight. Yes I need to lose about a stone and a half or so but amongst my circle of friends/ collegues there is only one who is fitter than me and he cycles 12 miles to work every day.If you eat more calories than you burn off, you will put weight on.

It's highly unlikely the exercise they've done would have burnt anywhere near as many calories as they've consumed although hopefully their fitness would have improved![]()

Well, Strava says I just burned 772 calories so I came in and ate a Mars bar. I'm still 500 calories in hand![]()
I wouldn't even eat that rubbish. Unflavoured protien in a smoothy made with fruit, porridge oats and almonds.
