Yes
Excluding camera gear we've bought ourselves :naughty: What's the best and worst Christmas present you unwrapped this year?!

My best was a box full of BiFi Roll XXL snack thingys brought over from Spain by a friend of mine.....he knows me too well!!

My worst was this given to me by my eldestdaughter.....which is ironic, as she's the cause of all the mess!!

You could use it as a lens changing 'bag' when outside. Would keep the dust out. It collapses, so saves space.
can't think of a worst in my gifts...

Kev.

"Worst" was probably a bad choice of word.....I'll change it to "naffest"!!

Best present part from the £1k in cash from my Gran I always get.
My digital camera from my mum Nd dad. Even though I've had it over a month lol.

Worst. Probably the t shirt that doesn't fit me.

Best - cycling shoes of my wife

Naffest - haven't had a naff pressie yet, although that could all change tomorrow when I see my mother !

Best was the 400d from my son, even though I got it a month early.
Worst....well, bit of a story. I was complaining that I couldn't print photos on our hp printer, they always came out with an orange tinge. So my missus accidentally let slip that she was trying to find one of those "zinc" printers, I dropped into the conversation that they only print 6" x 4", not very well, so she gave me the cold shoulder (should I have lied and said its wonderful?) and I unwrapped, this morning, the "zinc" photo paper! Haha.
Luckily she also bought me an 8gb cf card.

I've had a bottle of 18year old Glenlivet

And after christmas I'll be buying myself a 5D mk3 :D

Lowepro bag, 70-200 f4 L lens were equally fantastic. Penguin covered boxers were... Erm... Different. Merry Xmas all.

Best - 2012 Mac Mini 2.6 i7, although had it a while now!

Naff - Wasp traps that fit in the top of a plastic bottle. Might end up being useful though.

Brother gave me what I thought was a very generous Xmas pressie, took the wrapping paper off and found a box which looked like it still had the seal intact. Writing on the box was Samsung Netbook yada yada. Wow I thought he's really excelled himself this year, opened the box but alas no netbook but something much smaller for my other hobby ...but useful. fishing. Now I need to start thinking of a revenge

Best: watching my 2 and 4 years olds faces this morning...oh, and a little cash to put towards some gear :)

Worst: Bottle of Southern Comfort from the mum-in-law. If there is one spirit I wont drink it is that stuff, it is vile. Despite being asked and actually telling her exactly what I wanted (a bottle of Red Stag), low and behold she buys something totally different. Don't get me wrong (I know i'm lucky to get something and i'm not ungrateful at all). At least it's saved me buying someone a present next christmas

Best? Hard to choose between 2 intangibles and one I bought myself! On reflection, the ultimate best must be the restoration of my health but that was back in September so a bit early for xmas! By far the best tangible was my self gifted Jag XF.

Worst/naffest? An L. Completely useless! Well, it would be if it hadn't had all the glass smashed out and the rear cap glued on to make it waterproof! Not that useless after all, I can use it for storing hot beverages and the cap/hood as a biscuit holder/coaster.

Best.... receive lots of good prezzies: Jamie oliver book, pair of volcom t-shirts, new snowboard jacket and boots, a rubber pig that oinks when squeezed....

Naffest.... A book about the world of Eragon!!!

Best: hard to decide between the latest welsh jersey, jessops vouchers or flying lesson, worst: a Ralph Lauren jumper when everyone I know, knows I never wear jumpers.

Great Christmas though :)

Not sure if it qualifies as a Christmas present or not ...

On Christmas eve my wife suggested I bought tickets for the Catalan MotoGP for next June, so a few days in Barcelona then Bike racing :D

And naffest, not got it yet, visiting my parents this afternoon........my mother never disapoints :D

Best - few bits for the bike inc a Hope M4 disk brake and enough CRC vouchers to get the matching set.

Worst - a family member being diagnosed with a major illness on Christmas Eve. Kinda puts other "naff" presents into perspective.

Best was a lovely Il lago Jacket from the wife.

Worst, was a pointless naff "sweet dispenser" from a friend. I spent about £30 on them too. That tat must have cost £2.99

Haha, yeah, I don't spend X amount on someone just to get it back again, but we bought my wifes sister and her husband a brand new cooker cos they're a bit skint at the moment, top of the range, range cooker. Over 500 quids worth. I got back a book on photography from 2001 that concentrates on film photography. If she paid anything at all, it can't have been more than a quid! Oh well, live and learn.

Matika 18v drill and accessories pack being the best:thumbs:

A bloody pillow with a speaker in being by far the worse:thumbsdown:

That really gripes my arsh when people you spend a good few quid on and they buy a crap chepo present

Best: My girlfriend said yes to my Marriage proposal :0)

Worst: Some beer flavoured sweets from a Secret Santa at work....

Best is my family... Worst would be the arguments that come with the family...
Yes, I went deep ;)

Best was my early crimbo present, my three legged puppy Charlie. I've wanted a dog since I was 10, I'm 52 now so figure how happy.

Worst was my new Olympus OM -D EM5 so guess who's been a lucky boy his year.

Best Christmas I've had in years, even got a new partner after 10 years on my own.

Life's shweeeeeetttt.

Best - my craghoppers jacket (which I chose myself)

Worst - Wallace and Gromit cuff links. ???WTF???

No worst here.main stuff was the 3lt tripod, photographing flowers book and elements 11 Kelby & Kloskowski book;other stuff was Motocourse(bike racing) calendar and some bottled beer.

Lucky him!

Best. Tickets to see Gary Barlow tomorrow night.
Worst. A perfume gift set from my dad. I am sure it is perfectly lovely, but it smells strongly of roses, and reminds me of my childhood so strongly I cannot be in the same ROOM as it, never mind wear it.

I remember one year back in the 70's I was given Action man deserter for Xmas....when I opened the box it was empty.

I'm not sure if this is a joke or not

Best: Large framed print of one of my photos from the missus

Worst: snow shovel from my parents, when I informed them I already have one 'Yeah but it will break' was their reply

No, noticed this last night, but I was suffering fatigue in my fingers from unwrapping too many chocolates to type a reply!

No, really thought I wish I was that lucky, but alas not
