Bessel Studio Lighting

Cant really say i have heard of them...

But for the same money you could get a well known make kit...
Lencarta, lastolite etc...

If you do get the kit, let us know how it is...

I bought an s-fit speedfit 140 x 80cm softbox and snoots from them, good quality, cheap and delivered promptly.
 
I bought a roll of the white vinyl from them and a background stand set. Very happy with both. Also got e-mails about despatch and such of the packages which is relatively rare these days.
 
I've bought a few things from Bessel and would highly recommend them. On the one occasion when there was an issue with an order, they went above and beyond the call of duty to rectify the problem - their customer service and after sales care is superb!

Buy in confidence - you won't regret it :)

Got the backdrop stands and white vinyl backdrop, great poece of kit, very well made ............:thumbs:
 
After I spotted this thread a few days ago, I decided I'd order a couple of softboxes.

If anyone is in doubt about this supplier let me dispel your fears. I sent a question via their website on Friday afternoon, and had an answer on Friday evening. I placed my order on Sunday evening as I was busy Saturday, I paid an extra £1 for their first class post service (reasonable I thought) and got a confirmation email on Monday morning. I received my two softboxes this morning just as I was heading out for work. Everything is in the box, packaged properly and securely. I haven't had a chance to try them out of course, they seem to be of reasonable quality for the low cost.

The service from this company on this occasion has been first class, top notch and I would not hesitate to use them again should a need arise. I'm a very happy chappie. :thumbs:

I'll try to remember to do a proper product review when I've had a chance to try them out.

I must say when i went to pick up my backdrop and stands from bessel, i was very impressed, the owner glyn actually met me on a sunday afternoon for my collection, very nice chap he is and he even actually let me have alook around the warehouse and use his toilet :eek:, but i have to say great service from glyn and will be using him again in the near future

Let me know how you get on with those softboxes, some pics of them would be good ............:thumbs:

The only complaint I have is they were cruelly delivered this morning just as I was leaving for work. I've been sat here all day knowing they're waiting for me at home...:bang:

I'll post pics and do a review as soon as I get the chance. It might be a while as I have to fab up some sort of L bracket or some such to mount my speedlites (until I get my mains flash later this year)
