The Topography of Terror (where this is shot) is an interesting location and exhibition (although don't believe everything the tour guides say about it), we'd avoided it for our first couple of visits to Berlin as it sounded rather sensationalist and there are some rather trashy cash-in tourist traps in Berlin. When we did go we were very moved reading the exhibits, and this year I've read an interesting piece on the movement behind it's creation as a temporary display before getting permanent status. We were back in the city a week ago, probably our sixth or seventh visit. Whilst we were there we caught the Martin Romers exhibition at the DHM, a few years ago he tracked down the last untouched/original section of the wall not artificially preserved as a memorial. He found it somewhere on the Bavarian border.
