Looking at the prices on Fleabay I would tend to agree :D
 
Just thinking if i get shot of my 18-105 either by sale or swap will this void my warranty as i bought it in a kit?????

Nikon warranty is not transferable, the body would still be under warranty, but the lens you give to your friend will not be.
 
Ah right anything liable to go wrong with a lens as i said to him today there might need to be a bit of cash comes my way in the deal.

He also gave me his to try today and the first thing i noticed is how slack the barrel feels compared to mine is this just age and mines will go the same way?
