reading the back of yesterdays daily mail (yes i know not the best place to look for accurate info) its mentioned that this is happening so that BBC can keep the coverage of wimbledon and the open. So therefore the beeb are saying their golfing and tennis fans are more important than their motoring fans?
but at the same time if you dont like what they decide to put on, you still have to pay for it!:bang::thumbsdown:
No they are say they wish to stick to the governments requirments on certain events being so important they must be shown free to air.

From a personal point of view I would much rather they keep Winter Olympics than F1
