I find him funny, harmless but funny
Clarkson knows exactly what he's saying. All the time. He may think he's being cheeky or funny but some of the things he says are highly offensive and not appropriate in this day and age.
Anyone who wastes air time with a programme like Top Gear is not harmless.![]()

For pity's sake give your drum a rest will you.
Oh why are people so easily offended these days. It never used to be like this. Anything for a winge
Anyway, I think Topgear is great. A darn site better than that most of the other garbage on TV.
Hey up! we have a trio of PC posters now. LOL
Are you paid by the BBC to put up links to their articles?
Well not really defended. Final warning really, though they say he is not a racist, they think. The jury's out shall we say.
Top Gear brings in so much money for the BBC he'll get more chances than most, if this was a but part actor on EastEnders they'd have been out straight away.
The BBC started Top Gear in 1977 - they should never have let any part of the rights go to outside companies or individuals. LinkTop Gear brings in so much money for the BBC he'll get more chances than most, if this was a but part actor on EastEnders they'd have been out straight away.
I am not paid, but I read BBC news.
I feel we have a PC contingent, I would express that everyone has a free speech right and whilst that doesn't include racism/libel, I doubt there was racism aimed in the episode but the lynch mob love to have a go and take offence at things that had no malice attached.
Regardless of the BBC's findings he's still a nob of the highest order.![]()
yes, but isn't it the reason he is so funny and everyone except 4 people really like his shows? Political correctness makes me sick these days.

I don't mind Clarkson and I don't for one minute think he's actually a racist.
I've never been offended by anything he's said in the past but each to their own I guess.
As for Top Gear - I just take it for what it is. Harmless light hearted entertainment and general mucking about.
I have no time at all for leftie, pinko, PC doctrine. Effin hate it and if I was to express my true feelings regarding certain subjects I'd get lobbed off here for good.
I don't find Clarkson funny, entertaining or even very interesting. IMHO he is an overgrown, childish, boring old, middle class tw@t. Just my thoughts like!!
..........................whats wrong with middle class?
PlentyMust be my working class background and upbringing.
How open minded of you. Ever heard the phrase "inverted snobbery".

Yes I have, plenty of times and if that's what it is then that's what it is. I was brought up a certain way with certain principals, ethics and morals and I live by those. Don't have to justify myself to no-one tho if yeh don't like it suffer it. No skin off my @rse!!
It was Clarkson's re-pitch to the BBC that was responsible for it's re-launch.
I'd argue he lacks any style.

That's debatable.
Either way, the show belonged to the BBC and they should retained 100% control of everything.
He's a an arrogant tw@t imo. Detest the man and that other two muppets on his show.![]()
Where's Viv with her Irony Meter when you need it?
I've had the pleasure of being involved with one of the Toy shows that May worked on. He's a bit of a harmless nerd, but entertaining at time.
James May is my favourite of the three.
A great deal of BBC programming is produced for them by third party companies who are paid very handsomely.
