Hmmm, I think Dawn has said it all![]()
Is it me, or does it need rotating a little![]()
Am I missing something...I can't see anything...![]()

Hiya Colin,
I now 'hate' you .....
I have wanted to do a shot like this/these for ages ... but just never got round-to-it......
I absolutely love the colours and formations you have shot and the whole montage works for me ... loads of action and keeps my eyes dancing ......
Well done .... you b****r!!!
Cheers

Hi Colin, these are excellent, A great collection. I also like how they are appearing very cetacean like in there shapes.![]()
Thanks Patrick, what do you mean by double drop impacts?
They are sometimes called water drop collisions. Where you have a series of droplets falling, and capture the moment where the second droplet collides with the first as it splashes up.
Some amazing ones here

And a good instruction guide here on TP

Neat idea - and well executed(plus the hidden imperfections...)
Hi
Love the shot... but i'd have gone for a simpler effect with just one of them rather than the montage!
But that's maybe just me... I'm just not a montage sorta person!
I love the purple background as its just a bit dif to the usual white ones. Its defo something I must try one day.
Great work!
Mark

That was what I thought you meant and also why it confused me, all but the bottom three images are collisions.
Hi Colin
what a brilliant mantage....very envious as I can't get the hang of water droplets to save my life !
Love the background color & variations of collisions , can't see any imperfections ( so I'll take your word that there are some ) , bottom right is an absolute belter...well done you![]()
Of course they are! Sorry :bonk:
Great shots.
Week 23. Broken.
Now some might think this image is in some way derogatory to Mrs Sprout. However I discussed my idea for this week with her and she was 100% behind it.
Well I think that was her conclusion, I kinda stopped listening after half an hour :nono:
Very good indeed, on theme and well presented![]()
Half an hour...wow, you are a dedicated husband...
I like it. You've avoided the temptation to be predictable and injected a sense of humour.
If I was being really picky, is the surface flat as there seems to be a small shadow at the bottom?
And, yes, I did Google the record....![]()
Excellent. Very funny, and perfect for this week's theme. Nice sharp image too.
