Nice idea, i almost want to see the boarders reaction to the objection, lol
Keep up the good work.
J
Thanks everyone.
One more image in mind to complete the story but may will be th weekend before I can shoot it. Also managed (Ivthink) to take my original idea for "Empty" today, it's still in camera though so not sure if it will be ok or not. Again it will be the weekend before I can process and post it.
Just back home from a day out so a lot of shots to look through and process, but another day out planned tomorrow.

Managed to put together my original idea for empty. Could have been better but I've got a lot of other shots to go through so this will do.
And to put "Object" to rest before the week 15 theme is posted.

Wow Colin, this is super coolHow did you do that? (if you don't mind sharing your technique with us
)
Cheers

Thanks Dawn. For this I had the tripod set up as stable as I could in the back of the car. First image taken with the car stationary. Exposure measured for inside the car. The second image was taken while my wife drove the car, again exposure set for inside but this time only so I had movement on the speedometer. Third image taken with exposure set for outside the car with a slow enough shutter speed to show some movement. Shots were taken with 10mm lens to show as much of the inside as possible.
Then a lot of messing around on the pc to get all the bits together for one image, including cloning the trees to give a hopefully realistic enough side window view.

Need to ask though as very envious of your perfect white backgrounds & clarity in the colors on the lego......HOW ?
the car shot (thought that was wrong initially rather than empty - a car driving on its own... wrong...)
Thanks Tina, what do you mean by weird though? Is it just the fact it appears to be floating?
It's base on the left hand side looks...frilly![]()

I certainly hope that doesn't happen to my Baileys tonight
(and that won't look good)
AH! I see!
It is frilly. the leaf pattern on the glass is cut deep into the outside of the glass and the angle it's at is catching two of the cuts into it. If that makes sense![]()
Hiya Colin,
I certainly hope that doesn't happen to my Baileys tonight
otherwise I will have to set the camera to timer to take a self portrait
(and that won't look good)
Yep the glass looks like it is floating ..... not sure if that is what you were trying to achieve or my eyes just playing tricks on me
Needless to say, I agree 100% this is definitely 'wrong'.
Fab photo
Right ..... time for a top up
Cheers

Perfect sense - I did wonder if that was it but the other seemed smooth.
I thought this one may upset you Dawn, I remembered that Baileys was a favoured tipple of yours from a previous post. .
never when it comes to Baileys

what a great shot for Wrong
Love that the glass is "floating " , the colors , just everything about it , top work Moi? .... upset? .... never when it comes to Baileys

Great set of photographs for 'object' Colinand your 'wrong' shot made me laugh
Wonder what you will come up with for next week

Colin, thats a great picture for wrong, I quite like the style you have used here, the lighting is effective too.![]()
Hi Colin
what a great shot for Wrong
Love that the glass is "floating " , the colors , just everything about it , top work
gotta ask cos I'm feeling dim (no change there then !)....HOW ?
Hi, there, very nice idea and well executed.
My only issue, I'd like to see a bit more contrast between the bottle and the background.
I hope you caught the Bailey's......
Cheers.
