I'll pack the 21mm or my old Sigma 10-20 and run it in DX mode for superwide interior images. It'll still give me 16mp images
IIRC, they tried to reduce the pollution in Athens by restricting traffic to cars with registrations ending in odd numbers on some days and even numbers on the others. All that did was make those who could afford to buy an extra car with an alternative final number! There is apparently a Greek equivalent to the MOT but looking at the number of cars we've seen for several years with the same significant faults, it's as much of a joke as parking restrictions are there!
Staying up near Cornelia. To be honest I'm glad I've been to Rome and it's stunning but I have little desire to come back. The busyness, cost and crowded public transport don't give me joy, and due to the pick pocket/theft concern (I spoke to several who had passports, wallets taken) you're always slightly on edge. I'd go, make a list of what YOU want to shoot, and do it, once. I did get off the beaten track and it was great, but I prefer open spaces and long views. Down at the Tiber, the top of St Peters gives you that. But it's mobbed.YES, can't wait to see your pics
where about are you staying?

Hurry up mate![]()
There are some real crackers in there Steve
In Athens now. Beautiful as always. Only brought the x20 and a couple of film cameras. Liberating.
