Arundel Film Meet 18th October

Literally just been into photographica. Was bit tricky to find as it's actually just a room upstairs in the antiques shop.

Lovely stuff in there most of it in excellent condition and I would say fairly priced for what your getting (not an expert but seems to tie with what I've seen).

He also has a selection of bits and bobs like cases l and straps. He replaced a missing screw in my Zenit and I had to force some money on him.

I would certainly think of them if I was after something specific.
Thanks Chris, good info. I'm looking forward to a mooch round Arundel it should be a good day, do come and join us if you can.

I'm aiming to still come down, I need to check with @Woodsy if I can crash down in Soton, If not I'll try to find an alternative.

Well Nick got the bike back with a bill of £1679 ...it's only done 5000 miles but hasn't been used for 13 years and it was hard going (with a bike weighing 576 Ibs) driving slowly in traffic and around corners (guess I'll have to build some muscles up)...Anyway with misty mornings and not wanting to ride in rain or even the chance of a shower will leave it to a nice spring or summer's day next year. Anyway all enjoy your day out.

If you did not want to drive at this time of year, bad time to spend £1700. ?

I trust you'll be laying it up for winter correctly so that you're not going to have to pay again to have it recommissioned next year?

They had the bike in January and have only just finished it, and it would still be there if I hadn't gave them a link to where to buy some parts.........a member (here or somewhere) gave me the link.

This was mine.

Lovely bike...to me at my age comfort is most important. I regret selling my Yamaha sr250 and nearly bought one this year to use while my Honda was being fixed, it was something like this:-

But, but...they only have 2 wheels and no roof... madness I tell 'ee :runaway:

It needs at least one more wheel to be even vagualy safe...I do like the roof though.

Now that's more like it, The Munsters?

@Andysnap @medwaygreen
You know the guy who keeps popping up everywhere??.........well guess where he's gunna be on the 18th:banana:......You two crones best be there!:D:D

It'll be cool to meet up with Mr Snap in person along with others like Woodsy, Strappy etc whom I've never met.:)

Good to hear that @robhooley167 is showing an appearance ...will be good to see you again(y)

I'd offer to bring duty free but I need all the space I can get for kit! :D

As for Mr Surf himself.....He has the honour of putting up with me for a couple of nights :p

I see Andy's arranged an experienced model for us to shoot after all :D

Be good to meet you, Asha :)

Sadly my semi-French friend I won't be able to attend, to much stuff on in October and Arundel is a place so far away that an overnighter would be required. I shall be oop north fighting off wolves and bear.

Dammit:banghead:.....Tardis co-ordinates wont allow travel northwards from lattitude 52.306912999999990000 so unless you get yourself further south than Watford gap, we may never meet :arghh::arghh:.......................possibly a blessing for you!:D

Excellent news Asha, it's been far too long!

Due to the loveliness of the Current Mrs Snap I will no be attending this southern softie meet.

I shall be coming down on the Friday, arriving at about .1730 of the evening o'clock, so if anyone else is staying over on Friday

Should that read "Due to the loveliness of the Current Mrs Snap I will now be attending this southern softie meet." And this means you are coming

or

"Due to the loveliness of the Current Mrs Snap I will no be attending this southern softie meet." Said in a Glaswegian accent but you are, nonetheless just confirming your absence from the event and of course the loveliness of Mrs Snap

Yes I did mean NOW...... Bloody tablet is having a dicky fit and wouldn't let me edit it...

Ok, still a couple of weeks to go but in response to @bastic's post above

We will meet at Grounds Coffee Shop at 10 http://www.arundel.org.uk/details/grounds we'll be there for a while and then move on to enjoy the best that Arundel has to offer. For late-comers I'll make sure I email everybody with my mobile number so that you can catch up

10 is proper spot on, gives me time for a huge fry-up breakfast and a mooch about for an hour or so.

Andy

The ever lovely and often informative CMS has just passed this information to me

The A27 from Fontweel Roundabout to Crossbush junction will be closed from 16th - 21st October. Please use A259, A284 or A29.

Don't know if any of you are coming in from that direction but a heads up just in case.

Andy
