Are the Op tech pro straps any good?

I have them on 3 bodies, they are comftable to use, never had any issues with them, I often carry my griped 7D with 100-400 with no problems, believe they are neoprene or similar, :D

Can't fault mine either. Carries the load:thumbs:

If your camera is on and off the tripod buy the reporter strap.

This allows you to modify and gives you short quick release straps rather than having to completely remove or getting it tangled.

mind made up. Thanks guys.

You could alway ask if they have any left in the TP stores...:naughty:

Mine is a talkphotography strap exactly the same...

Just to throw a spanner in the works, Lowepro straps are pretty good too!
Made from the same materials, they are generally cheaper too!
I have two of THESE.

Extremely comfotable and plenty strong enough, use them on my 5 and 40d with various lenses upto a 100-400.

Looks like were waiting for the exchange rate to improve and for Matty or Marcel, theres a few members wanting one. Check this out Linky :)

I must be the only one not impressed with mine, i got one and used it on my gripped 40d and found it used to slip off my shoulder alot so went back to my canon strap and use the optech strap on my 600f4 and the extra weight of the lens helps. Mind you as ive said i carry my camera on my shoulder and not round my neck would prob be really good if carring it around your neck

Never liked the original Canon strap and couldn't wait to get the optech on, very comfy.

It is a neck strap. So the fact it slips off your shoulder will not supprise folk...

Your a star matey.. I would love to know what you would do with a hand strap :naughty:

I'm going to go against the grain here. I had one and it was great with my gripped 50D until I got the 100-400 L when I found it got really uncomfortable around my neck. I've switched to a black Rapid R strap.

As long as it's not in graphic form!! :gag:

Get the Optech pro classic it's a different shape to those ugly ones and stays on your shoulder better. I have one on my 5D2 with 100-400L and battery grip. Comfortable all day :D

I will deffo have a look at this strap. Plenty of good reviews on the net.

Optech Pro - awesome. All the better when they are branded with the TP Logo

I've got the slimmer Super Classic strap and find it very comfortable.

I've got a Carl Ziess air cushioned strap for the same price as an optech. It's very comfy :D.

Nothing new to say but love my optech straps, have 2 and it's amazing how it seems to take the weight away from the d700 with a 70-200 attached. Heartily recommended

I also have 2, one on each body and when using both bodies together i use the dual harness which is an excellent piece of kit and so easy to use with the quick release clips.

whats potn :D  :cuckoo:............ its ok i just googled it something about "alloy wheels" was the top answer:lol:
