Are the Op tech pro straps any good?

I also have 2, one on each body and when using both bodies together i use the dual harness which is an excellent piece of kit and so easy to use with the quick release clips.

I also have Dual harness - though mostly use it with just a single body. Switching the weight from neck to shoulders is a big plus, and it also fits nicely under the straps of my backpack - much easier when taking the pack off to change lenses, etc.

I use the OpTech Pro the rest of the time, so just switch from one to the other using the QR clips.

I use an Optech Pro strap and have had no problems..mine's been going strong for three years now..

Just to add, I sometimes have binoculars on the one side & camera on the other, this is great as they don't interfere with each other so no damage through swinging into each other while out walking.

I am expecting my Optech Pro to arrive tomorrow. I have bought it from Digital Depot :)

Get the Optech pro classic it's a different shape to those ugly ones and stays on your shoulder better. I have one on my 5D2 with 100-400L and battery grip. Comfortable all day :D

I agree. The Classic, for me, is the best. I originally bought one for my wife who has a long standing weakness in her neck following a whiplash injury. With the standard strap even her Olympus E510 and 14-42mm lens was too painful to wear around her neck but with the Optech she can carry it all day. I tried it on my E-3 and was amazed how much difference it made, I never would have beleived it. I rushed out and bought one myself. When my 11 year old daughter became interested in photography and claimed my old E-500 I bought her an Optech Classic too as I didn't want to risk damage to her small neck - particularly when she nicks my 70-300mm! :(

I'm going to go against the grain here. I had one and it was great with my gripped 50D until I got the 100-400 L when I found it got really uncomfortable around my neck. I've switched to a black Rapid R strap.

Me too. MUCH more comfortable.

Arrived! It really is a nice strap. It won't take away 50% of the weight ;) but it feels much more comfy than my original Nikon strap that came along with D3

Go and get yourself one :)

Luckily for me i have a dealer about 100 mters from my door so nipped down and nabbed another camo classic today, superb strap!!

I have been using an OPTECH wrist strap for several months and have been very happy with it. It is attached to my 450 with a "uni-loop" adapter. I have now purchased an OPTECH Pro Strap and also a Sling Strap adapter which I wore for a day's motor racing recently & found it to be very comfortable.
