its not their fault that she gave out her details to an unconfirmed caller.I wonder if she could sue TalkTalk for the loss?
do they get your details and then scam you via a phone call?
That seems to be the only way so be sure to tell your mum NEVER to give banking details over the phone![]()

...On the news they suggested some customers had terminated though not clear if they had a current contract term seems a bit closing stable doors after horse has bolted![]()

Their site (apparently) had a vulnerability, it's their responsibility to control things like that.fairness not their fault for hacking
I agree trouble is non of them are exactly reliable for example Virgin media pay for 150mbps and get 12 they still want paying for the 150 though. Sky took nearly 3 months with a loss of service issue in truth though I had 5 open reach engineersTT have a reputation of being one of the poorer comms providers, would be a good excuse tojump ship if they're waivering any termination fees.
Oh don't get me wrong, comms company's on the whole are some of the worst to have to deal with.
That said I've never had any bother from sky and am happily enjoying the full speed from my recent free upgrade from 100 to 150mb
Just that TT have a particularly bad reputation.
TT `my account` still not up & running.![]()
Wasn't it suggested awhile back it was most likely some spotty Oik in their bedroom?
He needs a paper round, that'll teach him some values, being out there all weathers![]()
UndoubtedlyYep,if it turn out to be the case,i bet he will get no more than a slap on the wrist![]()
One of the financial institutions or someone like Symantec will be offering him a job in a year or so. He might be a little s***, but he's a talented little s***.
No.So if somebody break into your house,is he an talented little s***![]()
What is the connection type that provides 150Mbps? I'd have to bond two FTTC connections to get that sort of throughput, and while I could (the ISP I use supports bonding multiple lines on the same login as either load balanced or failover), it would be expensiveThat said I've never had any bother from sky and am happily enjoying the full speed from my recent free upgrade from 100 to 150mb![]()

So if somebody break into your house,is he an talented little s***![]()
Breaking into my house wouldnt make him talented, no. Mainly because my house is relatively easy to break into. All you need is a brick or a crowbar and youre in.
Credit where credit is due. I dont agree with or condone what he did. But what he did was not easy and required a bit of skill, knowledge and luck.
Credit where credit due your moral compass is way off,a lot of crime require some skill & knowledge and luck,or is this because it seen as a white collar crime, you don't happen to be a banker or work in IT ?![]()
If you'll just hop down off your high horse for a minute and re-read my post you'll notice I said I didnt agree with or condone what he did. Nothing wrong with my moral compass thanks. And no I dont work in IT or banking, not that its really any of your business.
i guess he is talking fttP rather than fttC - i would like it but it is not supported where i liveWhat is the connection type that provides 150Mbps?
