Quite a few cycling members on here.

I have an Intense Tracer tucked away somewhere around here....if i find it i'll take a few snaps :D

Got a Rock Lobster Team Ti, (Hope M4, Floating Rotors, braided hoses, Magura Laurin shocks etc)

Love it to bits and out on it whenever i can be.

not got any pics uploaded, but will get some up later.

I used to have one of these handmade Devinci Cactus MTB's until the security guards in my apartment block stole it last year. They were even caught on camera but the management company did nothing :shake:. I had $1000 excess on my insurance policy (coz I was new to the country) and the bike cost me $950 new, so I was left bike-less. It was an absolute delight to ride. Just gotta save and get another one.

Wooo!

Just getting into this myself! I have been looking at bikes today and other the last week! I was looking at the Giant Terrago, Giant XTC SE (Now discontinued) and the GT Ava 1.0 (thanks SDK) The GT is slightly out of budget, but still reachable. I went to the shop today and fell in love with it :(

Now I don't know what to do!

I bought myself a Specialized Rockhopper a month or so back :) Hopefully i can use it a bit now i'm back from my holiday. Last time i rode it i only got a few miles then nearly died from lack of fitness :D

Great bikes, I'd love a real good mountain bike but I'm on a really tight budget at the moment.
My eldest is 7 1/2 and he loves going out on his bike with me, I've got a cheap second hand halfords jobbie at the moment and he is too little for a geared bike with suspension.
When he is bigger and can fit on a better bike I've told the wife I'm spending a couple of hundred £'s on one for me when we replace his.

Ive got a custom built bike. Frame is a GT avalanche 3, has shimano XT gears, breaks and crank, rockshok Judy front forks, and Element disk, custom made wheels!

Hope you like, its worth over £2500

Nice to see the rockhopper still has a following

I cut my mountain biking teeth and just about every other fleshy bit on me on a rock hopper, before moving up to Stumpy's and then nipping across on to Treks and then going back to stumpy fsr's before ending up on my Tracer. :D
The Tracer is more or less a spesh design with the four bar link rear (horst link)

i'll go now :exit:

not sure I can find my M.bike, buried in spiders webs i think?:shake:

LB......go dig it out and it'll help lose some of the lbs :)

yeah, I was thinking that! I am currently spending most of my spare time boxing up everything I have so I can move house, that seems to be pretty good exercise, hoping for move date of 07 07 07 cool!

PS: computer will be last thing I pack :D

He will be moving house two weeks after me! so is doing his own at the mo

. . . . you saying he needs the exercise?:suspect:

i'll take the 5th on that ;)

But, it's Ok for you to say he needs the exercise :)

ha ha ha

think I will take the 5th on that too! but there is always a good excuse for exercise if you need one! :naughty:

This is mine, old pic but not much have changed except I am using WTB saddle instead. Giant Trance 3.

I started MTBing again in Jan this year and it's awesome fun. I've ben out every weekend for the last 4 months and have also just started riding to work once a week in an effort to get super fit :)

Nothing fancy here, just a Scott Yecora which is bog standard and sitting in the shed. Gets taken out once a year to maintain this finely honed physique.

some thievin git's pinched your pedals :p

Nice bike Dizzy - what type of riding do you do ?

Time trialling. 10miles to 50 miles. Next time you go down a stretch of road with a bunch of guys a minute apart going flat out riding bikes like this with pointy helmets on, keep an eye out for blue awcycles.co.uk skin suit. It might be me!!

 They are a bit on the tiny side aren't they. Speedplay x2, a snip at 120quid... Now you can see why I can't afford a really nice camera :'(

Thinking of replacing over winter for an Iron Horse - quite like them!!!!

Carl.

Pete

The tracer is the same as mine, albeit mines red. :). I have the same hope discs too

Do you actually ride with the bottle on the front of the down tube and then dribk from it :gag:

Get a camelbak if you haven't already done so ;)

I think we could get a decent group ride sorted here :D

I have a Rockhopper and am third set of brakes - keep breaking them on rocks! Must get a bike called mushroomjumper or something

My boy has an Apalache Real and a hard tail where he does this sort of stuff on:

We go to loads of races and watch in admiration at those that can ride like this:

Not the same but i just bought a magura hydration bag, 2 litre one, plus i have a bottle holder too.

Yes, we should organise a ride sometime, but not yet coz i'm too unfit LOL

ive got a 93 Marin Pine Mountain, that had Pace shocks until some thieving **** stole them from the communal locked up bike shed !

Needs replacing now though still great light frame but everything is well tired now ! Including me ! lol

Ahhhh, I've not had mine out of the shed for years now, it's a real shame it was a fancy bit of kit in it's day (1998) GT Zazkar hardtail, pace forks, shimano XTR gears, cooks brothers cranks and loads of other trick stuff, custom designed and built by me including the snowflake laced rims, most of it was either ally or titanium, had it down to 20lbs once but bits kept getting broke so the weight finished up 1 24lb and it was pretty much bombproof, used to love racing it, both downhill and x-country.

really must dig it out and see what state it's in, such a shame really as it cost me over 2k when I built it.

alan

Right, we've seen some bikes, what about seeing some proof of them actually getting used :D

Who's first ?

hah!

I have an update! I am going to arrange a price for my bike tomorrow morning! So if they have my size frame in stock I might have myself a nice new bike 2moro! If they dont... they we could we waiting a while :(

looking forward to pictures of bikes in useage1
